Et tu, Roberto? It was bad enough for President Obama to have Andrea Mitchell jump ship this morning. But now someone who is—arguably—even closer to home has taken a resounding shot at the President's mishandling of the IRS scandal.
Appearing on Mitchell's MSNBC show this afternoon, former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs condemned the president's "exceedingly passive" language in discussing the scandal. Obama had said there'd be consequences "if" wrongdoing were found, and spoken of "losing patience." Gibbs was scathing: that's what "I do with my nine-year old." Ouch!

Great news, but I hate to say don’t get attached to these “Bigfoot flying UFO” sightings, cuz like a beaten wife I think in a week the entire fetid media machine will be RIGHT back to their old worshipping ways.

I don't buy that line of reasoning. The IRS revelation is bad news anyway you cut it. I think we can have 2 separate forest fires joining up to become a monster fire.
On the other hand, the IRS scandal could lead to the permanent neutering of the agency, which would ultimately do a lot more harm to the interests of International Socialism than impeaching the friendly black puppet. They can find more Obamas - they can't endure without a powerful IRS serving as a revenue collection and behavior modification tool.

The IRS gives power to both sides of the aisle. Neither the ‘Pubbies nor the Democrats will suffer the IRS to be “neutered.” How else would they extort “donations” from their corporate donors, with the threat of IRS actions, or the promise of IRS favors?
