The Insiders: The Obama IRS nightmare is just getting started

Your government, as currently administered by President Obama, doesn’t like the word “patriot.” If you associate yourself with an organization using that word, you may be investigated and prosecuted. Under Obama, government employees think they are doing what their superiors want them to do when they harass and menace political organizations that might oppose the president.

Vladimir Putin is probably jealous of Obama. He and others like him will hardly be able to hide their smiles when they hear the United States preach about the need to let political organizations function freely. What lessons should the Muslim Brotherhood learn from what the Obama IRS has done?

To say the least, this story has legs. The scandal is already getting worse, and it hasn’t even officially started yet. The IRS inspector general’s report is only the beginning, and it was just leaked on Friday afternoon (the typical, amateurish time for leaking damaging news). The formal release date hasn’t even been announced. Yet the jaw-droppers keep coming. This morning The Post reported that the Obama IRS targeted groups that want to “make America a better place to live.”

The Obama IRS scandal will frighten any American who has to pay taxes... There’s too much about this scandal that confirms what people already think about Obama, his government and his political machine.

I'm not so sure. I think Obama made a BIG mistake when he went after the phone records of the AP. I think that will more than likely make a sea change in the media's covering of these scandals. The media was fine with Obama going after the GOP and conservatives, but will not abide by him going after THEM.

Nope.

The media piled onto Clinton in '93, rallied behind him again for the '94 elections, piled onto him again in '95, rallied behind him again for the '96 elections, piled onto him again in '97, then rallied behind him (and Algore) in time for the '98 elections.

The media is following the same pattern with Obama, except they remained too much in love with him since 2008 to say anything bad against him until this year. Plus, if you say anything bad about Our Glorious Leader you are clearly a racist, so that has also stifled them somewhat until this year.

I fully expect the media to rally around Obama and the Democrats next year, and then start piling on again after the 2014 elections. They will then rally around the Democrats again before the 2016 elections.

With respect to you and your professional stance and credentials, I want to call up your statement and remind people that, in Nazi Germany, when the Gestapo, also a government investigative agency, found nothing to report, they made up stuff to report. Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer died in prison because the Gestapo could find nothing on him except that he opposed Nazism.
I suspect that, in Obama and Holder's America, there are whispered conversations and instructions to government employees to make stuff up about citizens and groups on the Administration's enemies list.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Two Republican governors are urging President Barack Obama to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Internal Revenue Service’s admission that it targeted conservative political groups.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker call the allegations “Big Brother come to life.”

They want a special prosecutor to find out if any laws were broken and say Obama should fire any IRS employees responsible for the situation

You mske a good point but I’m hoping the American people won’t stand for much more of this regime and oust him before it gets to that point. We’re not quite Nazi Germany yet but it appeared we were heading that way until recent events which look very damaging to the faux Fuhrer...: )
