‘Changing gender should be as easy as changing car numberplate’ (Sweden)
EU Observer ^ | 13.05.13 @ 00:09 | Honor Mahony

Next week, the Swedish parliament is expected to pass a law abolishing a requirement for people changing their legal gender to be sterilized. The move follows a high level and at times bitter debate about a four-decade old law that pitted equality activists against conservative politicians.

The activists argued that the 1972 law—making Sweden one of the first countries in the world to allow legal gender change—breached human rights. Opponents objected to possible situations where a person born as a woman, changes her legal identity to become a man, then gets pregnant. …

For transgender people everywhere, Argentina currently sets the legal ideal. It passed a law last year allowing people have their gender identity recognized on official documents without having to have a psychiatric diagnosis or surgery.

“They have a very simple procedure. The trans person goes to the registry office and says, ‘Under this law, I want to change my name, my photo and please change my documents.’ It’s a simple procedure, like changing a license plate on your car," says (Transgender Europe policy expert Richard) Koehler. …

Can’t wait to see how they change every cell’s makeup to show the other sex’s gene pattern. I’ll wait.

Okay, now we have to be all so caring of people who feel trapped in their bodies.

Do your own surgery on your own dime. Keep me out of the freak surgery and asking me for payments by taxing me.

Hmmm...getting the “X” to turn to a “Y”,or the “Y” to turn to an “X”,is usually the tricky bit.

Yes using the a modified application of the cranial screw top as perfected by Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr, now one can replace their genetalia according to size and sexual preference in a few moments.

Why wait? I'm going to Argentina to pick up some documents. I want to see if they will get me into the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders' locker room.

So, it’s like this, I was born as a woman but then I
fell in love with a guy who thought he was a lesbian
so I changed into a male but then he left me for a
woman, so I decided to be lesbian but the girl I met
wanted a man so I changed back but then she left me
for another womn, so after that I just had both sexes
added so no matter who I met I’d be ok, then I met
someone who was celebate so now I’m a sexless double
sexed man/woman who hasn’t had sex with anyone but
myself but now I love myself so everything turned out
allright.

Signed No longer confused.

There are some people who have unusual genotypes like XXY. Further, it's possible for the transcription of a birth record to be just plain wrong. As such, there should be some sort of procedure for adjusting a person's birth record to reflect reality. Of course, someone seeking to alter their officially-recorded sex to match reality should be required to provide evidence that the change would actually have that effect.

I was talking about the devil-children like Cher's offspring . . . a butchered up, hormoned up, bearded "thing" (I can't think of a better word) that the media keeps referring to as he/him rather than she/her.

Someday they will have nano-bot or DNA tech to do this... that will be a weird day...

You know, Sweden, I kinda wish I could change my species at this point.

I would blame their idiotic politics on the cold and their drinking WAY too much but Norway and Finland have the same climate and drinking style and DON'T have their stupid politics.
My visits to Sweden (have an old friend who lives there) tell me that it's the ultra, uber-liberal WOMEN who call the shots and make these moronic choices.

Maybe the Swedish males are too swacked to care what their politics are.
