Listen, I’m all for going for impeachment. He’s earned it. The question is would you rather make a symbolic, gesture now and get a Pyrrhic victory (House votes to impeach, Senate doesn’t find him guilty) or wait til 2014, try to take the Senate and actually get this incompetent joke out of office?
Worse comes to worst, we’ll likely still have the House in 2014. Even if we don’t take the Senate back, we can push for impeachment in 2014 and achieve the same results as we’d get today.
