Absolutely right! If you believe in tolerance and equality, the thing you really need to do is . . . shut other people up.
It’s only decent. If you believe in diversity, eliminate anyone who doesn’t fit the mold, and if you think hate speech is bad, build a campaign of organized loathing.
Perfectly logical.
The Daily Kos website displays an American flag (sort of — it’s orangey, like the red and yellow flag of some international workers’ collective after it’s been put through the washing machine too many times). It’s a wonder that the flag doesn’t get up and slink off the screen in embarrassment.
Because this country has a long, proud history of freedom to piss people off.
The StopRush movement, started by an employee of the liberal group Media Matters, brags that it has been successful in driving advertisers away from “The Rush Limbaugh Show,” which for 25 years has delighted, infuriated, tickled and provoked its radio listeners by the millions.....

Rush has a waiting list of advertisers. Each show only has so many minutes to sell.
Any advertisers who leave will be replaced and the new advertisers will prosper and continue advertising.
Lies is their tool. It the only thing they have.
Liberals NEVER believed in tolerance or free speech.
They may have the advantage of having a ton of free time on their hands, but we have the majority of rational true Americans and with our might, we can use the internet in our advantage to choke the libs back to their roach infested nests.
Isn’t that the truth? To stop intolerance, be intolerant. I am not a Rush fan by any stretch of the imagination. But I do not want him silenced. I simply do not listen. Everyone has that same right. The answer is not to prevent those who do like him from having the opportunity to have access to his show. Spoiled brats!
Sometimes by direct competitors: Carbonite by I-Drive, Pro Flowers by 1-800-FLOWERS, and so on. So not only does walking away hurt you, it may well boost your competition.
The fact is that productive Americans are the ones with more disposable income, and we are more thoughtful on how we spend that money. If I was a Rush advertiser, I would make sure these people put me on their list - I could be the next Chik-fil-A. [Note: CFA's lines are still longer than before the freaks tried to boycott them, even with expanded staff.]
Free speech — to the left — has always meant shouting down opposing viewpoints.
I don’t listen to ads by the takers anyway.
And yet Rush’s show seems to have more commercials than ever before. Go figure.

They’ve been trying to silence Rush for 25 years now.
Rush was good back in the day, but he’s like being gummed by a toothless pitbull now. Michael Savage rips the left a new anal orafice with creative and insightful analysis daily, but they pretend he doesn’t exist. Rush is 10AM-1PM mountain standard time cubicle-friendly noise with lots of advertisements.

I was one who dropped Carbonite when they dumped Rush.
I now use ZipCloud. I do not know their politics and do not care, as long as they keep it to themselves.
They personify intolerance by demanding everyone not only agree with them that homosexuals are "normal," that homosexual union legalization will be called "marriage," and that anyone that disagrees with that must be stopped, whatever it takes!
Of course they do - just not for people who disagree with them.
So THEY are going to show how TOLERANT they are by trying to shut Rush down?
