And, if I got it right, the witnesses were not under oath nor was any record of the interviews kept...total white wash.

That’s good to know. I know others who have served close to him. I’ve never asked. And they wouldn’t tell. It does bother me how political and power hungry some are.

Mike Mullen was that most despicable of creatures in the American military—a political general.

These sleaze bags were promoted repeatedly because they were compliant and politically correct. Like thinking more junior officers have also been given preference in promotions. It’s gradually weakening our military.

Can anyone ‘splain to me why these two didn’t volunteer their testimony?

Seems to me they ought to be ready to come forward and make Hitlery and the Clown own up to their failures.

Many areas need investigation simultaneously such as lack of defense at consulate, what was the ambassador doing in Benghazi, initial response, coverup, etc All of them are of equal interest to me.

<......”Only a matter of time before the stand down order will be addressed”....>

Issa won’t make that central until he’s made them all reveal openly their roll in this...he’s not after a couple cards going down...he’s going after the full deck!

The Rats will have you believe that questioning the integrity of an Ambassador and Military Admiral is unconscionable. I say these guys have been bought off, blackmailed, or are just closet Marxist. If they need to be torn to shreds to save this Republic, then so be it. I see nothing coming of this unless Issa knows a LOT more than he is letting on, and these two clown know it before testifying.

if he actually said “deposed” then that would mean “deposition “, which, by definition, would be under oath. That , in turn, would put the two targets on their very best, straight-talking, behavior.

“dereliction of duty” is the charge that comes to mind for the commander-in-chief. On the military side it would be bustable/ courts martialable. on the civilian side I expect it’s the definition of “impeachable”.

Many areas need investigation simultaneously such as lack of defense at consulate, what was the ambassador doing in Benghazi, initial response, coverup, etc All of them are of equal interest to me.

But the best way to pursue the investigation is to focus on one thing at a time.

The Wednesday hearings proved a singular thing -- the administration engaged in a cover-up from the get go.

Let's not complicate or obfuscate. The MSM -- and the low information voter -- have a very limited attention span and restricted powers of discernment.

A side benefit of this "one thing at a time" approach is that it extends the hearings almost indefinitely...

Issa has learned how to manage the news cycle: leak, leak, leak, expose...pause for effect.

“Poor 80+ year old Pickering is going to have a heart attack..”

Yeah.... conveniently.

What a video. Jeannine Pirro is outstanding. Thanks for the link!

She was on fire last night. After her intro she had Lt. Col. Hunt on together with a former Seal. Hunt claims multiple options were available and the former Seal said the special reaction group was either on 30 minute or 60 minute response (to get to their gear and be ready for dispatch). An elite team based out of Stuttgart was actually training in Croatia at the time, and they could have reached Benghazi within 4 hours (3 hours flight plus max 60 minutes response time).

And the administration’s claim that these fighter jets from either Germany or Northern Italy weren’t viable because there were no mid-air fuelers available is also a lark, since refueling could have been done on the ground in Sicily.

Lies, damned lies, and democrats...

Well, the atmosphere of the top echelon of any of the military services is to cover your own a** and preserve the status quo...
These people get to the top by self-promotion and go along to get along as well as perfecting a** kissing. Even those on the periphery are afraid to rock the boat...rather despicable, if you ask me.

They need to bring in General Ham, formerly the CO of AFRICOM...And Admiral Gyotte...

These two guys have the skinny on who ordered them to stand down...At least the next in the chain of command of theirs...

Keep going up the chain till they get a nose bleed...

"What we have here is the President of the United States REFUSING to send military help to an Ambassador and others who were under deadly terrorist attack."

Bears repeating until he receives his much-overdue comeuppance.

Nope. They should focus on all aspects of this sordid affair including before 9/11, during 9/11 and post 9/11. They should definitely NOT make it look like they have their eggs in one basket. The administration bobs and weaves on that issue and then our guys say now we will look at item #2. Looks like a witch-hunt.

No. Get a select committee to look all ALL aspects thoroughly.

Gregory Hicks, the Benghazi whistleblower who said he was “demoted” after challenging the Obama administration’s response to the attack, is a registered Democrat who voted for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, according to the Daily Caller. Hicks voted for Clinton in the 2008 presidential primary, then for Obama in the 2008 general election and again in 2012 — just weeks after the assault — attorney Victoria Toensing told the Daily Caller.......Well well

Maybe look at Susan Rice one more time as well. She was picked to do the video lie for more than a few reasons. This apparently was not her first rodeo.
