Darrell Issa reports that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which he chairs, will depose Ambassador Thomas Pickering and Admiral Mike Mullen over Benghazi....

I don’t really know much about Issa, but I keep reading his name in connection with this investigation. It sounds to me like he is staying on it, not distracted by the next shiny object in DC. I like that. It looks like he is one of the few officials who is actually working hard at his job, staying focused, and finishing what he started.

Thanks for that description. I had read something similar earlier today, but this confirms it for me.

What a joke. This whole Benghazi fiasco is just one more in a long list of side shows meant to stir up our emotions and keep our eyes off the real issues at hand. Obomba, his administration and their confederates have destroyed the US Constitution's command over our laws and are working speedily to remove any freedoms said Constitution guaranteed.
Does anyone really think anything will come of this Benghazi-gate affair?

My wife who barely follows this stuff and hates that I do even said - “I saw where they said it would take 20 hours to get forces there. I do not know a lot of how things work in the military but that sounded completely ridiculous.”
