You have got ti be kidding me!!! Ever hear of the words “Rapid Response”!!! You know what that means......Special forces, Navy Seals, etc. are ready to go in minutes!!! Obama had the means....he just decided his re-election was more important then the lives of our brave and patriotic public servants and military personnel!!! I agree the decision was made by Obama and it was political. We don't know why the wheels were not set in motion to send help. Panetta made the lame excuse that you don't send troops in if you don't know the situation on the ground. This is ludicrous especially since they had a drone over the scene for hours. And you send troops into harms way regardless when it comes to a rescue mission like this one. Doherty and his team went in without knowing the situation on the ground.
