Was there ever any doubt?
To: Secret Agent Man
And a very scary message that everyone needs to be reminded of.
| I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America
and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world. I proudly serve my country*s Navy combat team with Honor, Courage and Commitment. I am committed to excellence and the fair treatment of all.
After Obama*s Benghazi Disaster
a new recruitment ad for TV?
- The Sailors* Creed was modified in 1993 under President Bill "Shut The Door" Clinton, who, for the first time in U.S. history, allowed homosexuals in the military by signing "Don*t Ask, Don*t Tell." The current version of the creed, a slight modification of the 1993 version, was published in 1997.
Prior to 1993, the Sailors* Creed (once) said:
I have chosen to serve in the United States Navy. America depends on my performance for her survival, and I accept the challenge to set my standards high, placing my country*s well-being above self-interest. I will be loyal to my country, its Constitution and laws, and to my shipmates. I will be honest in my personal and professional life and encourage my shipmates to do the same. I will, to the best of my ability, do the right thing for its own sake, and I am prepared to face pain or death in defense of my country. I will be a professional, wearing my uniform with pride and accepting responsibility for my actions. I will set excellence as my standard and always strive for ways to make me a better sailor and my crew a better crew.
The newest text appears to give the orders of superiors the same weight as the U.S. Constitution and eliminates references to "responsibility" and doing "the right thing." Adding a reference to obedience to superiors, the second line now reads:
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
In its entirely, it says now:
I am a United States Sailor. I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me. I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world. I proudly serve my country*s Navy combat team with Honor, Courage and Commitment. I am committed to excellence and the fair treatment of all.
Fearing the the new policy on homosexuals will erode religious liberty, the chaplains alliance worked with other groups to draft a preventative measure in the National Defense Authorization Act for the Fiscal Year 2013. The measure allows chaplains to practice their faith as they have since the nation*s founding.
Section 533 of the bill reads:
No member of the Armed Forces may (1) require a chaplain to perform any rite, ritual, or ceremony that is contrary to the conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs of the chaplain; or (2) discriminate or take any adverse personnel action against a chaplain, including denial of promotion, schooling, training, or assignment, on the basis of the refusal by the chaplain to comply with a requirement prohibited by paragraph.
Crews and his allies pleaded that all members of the armed forces should be extended religious freedoms. "We had asked for language that included all service members, not just chaplains," Crews explained.
When President Obama signed the bill in January, however, he issued a signing statement that rejected the conscience provision, calling it "unnecessary and ill-advised." While the president doesn*t have the power to veto particular sections of a bill, "signing statements" indicate how the administration interprets its duty to enforce the measure.
More than a decade before Clinton opened the door for homosexuals to enlist, the U.S. Department of Defense policy stated that homosexual behavior in the military poses a threat to the proper functioning of the armed forces and, therefore, national security. "Homosexuality is incompatible with military service," the DOD stated in a regulation issued in 1981. "The presence in the military environment of persons who engage in homosexual conduct or who, by their statements, demonstrate a propensity to engage in homosexual conduct, seriously impairs the accomplishment of the military mission."
The 1981 regulation said the presence of homosexuals "adversely affects the ability of the armed forces to maintain discipline, good order, and morale; to foster mutual trust and confidence among service members; to ensure the integrity of the system of rank and command; to facilitate assignment and worldwide deployment of service members who frequently must live and work in close conditions affording minimal privacy; to recruit and retain members of the armed forces; to maintain the public acceptability of military service; and to prevent breaches of security."
Crews contends that the motivation behind the abrupt change in policy gave little thought to maintaining national security.
"The American armed forces exist to defend our nation, not as social experiment lab in which our troops serve as human subjects," Crews commented in a statement last September, one year after the DADT repeal. "While many will ignore the negative impacts, or pretend that they don*t exist, threats to our troops* freedom are mounting."
And where will orders demanding adherence to military policy on homosexual behavior lead?
"Zero tolerance," said Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness. "If you don*t agree, you can end your military career."
Donnelly pointed out that the failure to carry out directives pertaining to homosexuals has dire consequences.
"A [member of the] Coast Guard initially lost his job for merely inquiring about privacy," Donnelly said. "Military LGBT law works to stifle and end careers of those who disagree."
Is the military culture of obedience to orders
being abused to forward a political agenda?

Strange that Carney didn’t know much about the story, ostensibly because it had just broken. However, he was aware of the fact that Schulman had been appointed by Bush. Is someone feeding him info in his earpiece as he stands at the podium? Or did he think that obscure factoid would be enough to shut down any dialogue about the matter?

(Be Breitbart, baby. LIFB.)
Actually, this story shows the serious flaws in the upper managements story regarding being unaware.
“But on June 29, 2011, Lois G. Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt organizations, learned at a meeting that groups were being targeted, according to the watchdogs report. At the meeting, she was told that groups with Tea Party, Patriot or 9/12 Project in their names were being flagged for additional and often burdensome scrutiny, the report says.”
This is significant and will open the door to further indepth investigation.
The AP received only a portion of the IG’s report. Congress has the entire results of the investigation from the IG.

Did not Nero, the NAZI Party in Germany, the Bolsheviks and various leaders of the Soviet Union elaborately blame the Christians and Jews for the very same evils they so efficiently carried out?
Even while they actually terrorized and enslaved their own populations and worked to eliminate all forms of Christianity and individual responsibility.
More recently, this same type of activity by the IRS actually took place under the Clinton Administration in a big way (covered along the way by those from this site).
The angles and examples of the attack on freedom are miriad.
It was the Clinton administration which ultimately decided to open the floodgates to Muslim immigration and American education in a big way early in 1993, while simultaneously reducing the number of immigrants from less egregious regions of the world, which actually set us up for great evil.
In an address from the White House, it was the Clinton administration which, the same day of the Oklahoma City bombing, blamed it on “right wing” indoctrination by conservatives such as Jerry Fawell and Rush Limbaugh, who “planted the seeds of hatred and distrust” in the minds of those who carried out the attack.
Clinton stated this while demanding no one jump to conclusions about the Muslim (on an official watch list) who had travelled by air from Oklahoma City and was caught bording a flight out of the country from New York by the FBI trying to exit the country quickly with devices which could have been used. Guilty or not who was jumping to conclusions?
Over time, it was Carter and then Clinton who created the new rules on home ownership which were repeatedly faught for by a once left wing lawyer now in the White House which should be credited for throwing our economy off the tight rope we had been on for a long time, which was then blamed on the Bush administration and conservative (Reagan)economics. We could go on forever with examples of the innocent being blamed for the evil created by the truly guilty and immoral left!
For the past four years, DHS, mass media, academia in general, and now (after a very real general officer purge) the military are proponants of the current administrations line that freedom loving Americans and Christians in general are to blame for “civil rights violations” and most of the societal evils which need to be eliminated. Hence the reason we are “potential terrorists.”
We are the ones to blame for capitalism, global warming, “over- population,” efforts to protect the innocent, protection of borders, self defense, ownership of land, individual responsibility, love for God, our wives, families, country etc.
This is another case of the actual terrorist (secular humanist) actually terrorizing those they are falsely accusing of possible terrorism, to obtain untouchable political dominance and subjection of a once free society!
This is the purpose of the left wing PsyOps and battle against our freedom and families we are now facing.
There are miriad recent examples we could add, explicitly demonstrating how the left have used their positions to damage our freedom and economy while blaming it on us.
There is no question left wing indoctrination has captured the hearts and minds of our youth and even older generations.
If we really love our country and families, we cannot quit fighting for them.

I thought it strange also.
Senior Internal Revenue Service officials knew agents were targeting tea party groups as early as 2011, according to a draft of an inspector generals report obtained by The Associated Press that seemingly contradicts public statements by the IRS commissioner.
Everyone who knew should lose their job. NOW.
And if they were doing it at the behest of higher-up officials, then those officials should lose THEIR jobs.
And if it was done on the order of Obama, then he should lose HIS job.

The IRS officials (including those high-level officials who actually are) responsible for targeting legal and patriotic American organizations gave aid and comfort to the enemy. These IRS officials should be tried, convicted, and sentenced for treasons.
The sentences on these traitors should be executed in public.

the criteria for flagging suspect groups was changed to, political action type organizations involved in limiting/expanding Government, educating on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, social economic reform/movement, the report says.
Enough to make the Stasi proud.

There are more scandals, if we are not sufficiently distracted, they’ll pull down another one. Plenty of expendable people in DC. Even though it is a VERY small town in important ways.

But, but, but at least Obama's been honest and victimized by his eligibility amidst those "kooky" suspicious "Birthers" such as Alan Keyes and Sheriff Joe who claim that just because Obama shares a SSN with an elderly person from the 1970s and has produced multiple versions of his birth certificate (all of which) kooky investigators conclude were forged. Give the man a break. At least he's been honest about that one thing, a needle in a haystack of honesty but still he deserves credit.

My questions are, like those re Benghazi, who ordered the investigations (and it wasn’t some low level shit head; where they asked to do it by the White House or a Democrat politician or official; did Lerner punish anyone for this illegal activity; and why wasn’t this made public earlier (it would have saved them a lot of embarrassment)?
This goes a long way toward explaining the spate of articles from the left smugly proclaiming the Tea Party's diminishing influence, right around the time the IRS started targeting them. Coincidence, I'm sure.
Apparently, this latest revelation about their intimidation campaign wasn't important enough for the Washington Post to include in the News section, but was relegated to the Business section.
nah i don't buy this story.
