Obama leans communist on some things but he’s also a Muslim sympathizer. Remember how it took him forever to take any kind of stand on Syria because he likely had sympathy for Assad. But his actions on Libya and Egypt made his silence untenable.
Right now I think he wants to do whatever causes the least trouble for himself. Keep in mind there are still reports out there that Saddam’s WMD are in Syria. If that turned out to be true that would cause massive trouble for the democrats.
