The talking points used by Amb. Susan Rice on the Sunday shows on the weekend after the 9/11/12 terror attack in Benghazi underwent at least 12 edits – including revisions by the Obama administration’s State Department — new emails obtained by ABC News show. Those revisions included scrubbing all references to an Al Qaeda-affiliated group and all references to previous CIA warnings about a terror threat.

When it became clear last fall that the CIA’s now discredited Benghazi talking points were flawed, the White House said repeatedly the documents were put together almost entirely by the intelligence community, but White House documents reviewed by Congress suggest a different story.
ABC News has obtained 12 different versions of the talking points that show they were extensively edited as they evolved from the drafts first written entirely by the CIA to the final version distributed to Congress and to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice before she appeared on five talk shows the Sunday after that attack.

I would imagine there were thirty to fifty people involved in rewriting the episode and could watch the unclassified emails go back and forth.
It’s an interesting thing to go back twenty years ago before email came along, and everything was done over a phone or verbally in a room. Never any records. Now people sit miles and states apart...laying out evidence for anyone who gets screwed over later.
There’s more than one leaker...my humble opinion. At least two or three.
If you ask me....the White House will hunker down, go into a concrete ‘lame-duck’ status, and just try to ride on to 2016. You can forget about any joint effort to achieve anything via Congress. The 2014 election geared to be status quo, no real changes. I think you’d have to go back to the 1840s to find an administration with such a limited achievement record.

A plague be upon the perpetrators of this scandal and all other crap they are pulling. Karma’s a bite; what goes around comes around and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving crew.
Maybe the LSM will do some random acts of journalism for a while, but by the time of the next election they’ll be back in line to try to get the house back to the Dems.

All a diversion. They are repeating what has been discovered. Talk of edits to cover up the real coverup. DO NOT TRUST ABC, CBS, NBC, OR CBS.
This is what’s called “MITIGATION”—they are trying to neutralize what’s already out there. Fire a few low-level employees and it’s fixed.
Since the left does not adhere to any ethical, moral, or legal standards, this is being treated as a strategic public relations problem. That’s it.

Given his admitted laziness, drug use, the fact he attends only 1/3 of his security briefings, his constant campaign style travel out of Washington, his dependence on the teleprompter to speak, his mostly ceremonial calendar when he is in the White House, the fact no one knows where he was after 5:00 pm on 9/11/12, and occasional reports from inside the tent that he his detached and unfocused I wonder how involved Obama really was in the decisions being made at the time of the Benghazi incident. Obama may have been upstairs stoned with Reggie Love for all we know.
If the truth be known Valerie Jarrett is probably our real president. Barack Obama doesn’t have the leadership skills, intellectual capacity, or decision making capability to do the job. An engaged and active president would have been in the situation room during a crisis with his key advisors calling the shots. Even Jimmy Carter would have been hands on. The fact Obama was missing in action demonstrates he is the POTUS in name only.
It is interesting to note all of the key players in the Benghazi debacle are females. Leon Panetta (Sec of Defense) and David Petraeus (CIA Chief) were clearly on the sidelines and Obama was MIA. The key actors on the night in question, and the aftermath, were Jarrett, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Victoria Nuland, Huma Abedin and Beth Jones. It is fascinating these high powered progressive and liberated modern females, who are attuned to any perceived or real sexist behavior on the part of American males, are so supportive of a culture that treats women poorly and would never allow females to hold their positions of power.
Insider information regarding the Osama bin Laden kill mission indicate Obama was on the golf course that day and Jarrett was not in the White House. Panetta managed to push Obama to make the decision in Jarrett’s absence. Supposedly Obama spoke to Panetta last before he disappeared. Is it possible that night Valerie told Obama she would take care of the details, and he could go play that night, if he would first call Panetta and tell him Jarrett would be calling the shots? It may be Panetta was prepared to attempt some kind of military intervention and Jarrett shut it down. Soon afterward, Panetta announced he would be leaving the administration. Could it be Benghazi made him unable to continue serving the puppet and Jarrett?
This piece is the equivalent of Obama using the word Terrorism in the Rose Garden while attrributing the event to the video
While I agree with what you’re saying, one way or another he is guilty. One way or another he should be thrown out of office. One way or another his direct advisers/spokesmen/cohorts (like Jarrett/Rice/Clinton) should be thrown into the street by congress.
