“What Difference Does It Make?”

“Don’t print that! It’s strictly off the record!” is not unique to Obama’s regime.
“Off The Record” performed by James Cagney:

“I’ve found a way of dropping a hint or a glint of the truth
that the boys cannot print...”
Y’know, Woodward & Bernstien made millions bringing Nixon down.
Maybe the MSM will opt for the money this time?
Most of them are wh*res anyway ......................................................................................... FRegards
Am I understanding this right.?
So the white house got so called reporters for an off record briefing which sounds to me here are your talking points and now get out there and cover us and what we have said is classified but we are trying to help you.
This is frigging worse than Watergate and now there is a cover up about a cover up over the original cover up
Does anyone wonder if the administration outed the IRS story today hoping it would grow legs and get Benghazi off the front page? Obviously they knew Benghazi gate was gonna go viral today.
This Administration has squandered its credibility, anyway. Only Obama’s Democratic admirers in the news media will be impressed by this.
I just heard Glenn Beck say that the brother of the head of CBS works for the Obama administration and is the man responsible for the changes to the talking points. I was in my car, and lost the connection, so that is all I heard, but it explains a lot about how Obama controls the media.
Is there a list of the conspiring “reporters”?
In case you missed this one. The White House held a closed-door, off-the-record briefing with carefully selected unidentified members of the so-called “media”. This took place several hours prior to today’s regularly scheduled White House briefing (which was delayed by several hours because of it).
We may or may not ever know what was said and to whom in that briefing, but it’s not hard to guess.
Anyway, there were some normally compliant media at the regular briefing who were probably not invited to the private briefing, and probably weren’t happy about that. As a result, some follow-up questions about Benghazi occurred that were at least a little stronger than the usual softballs.
I didn’t see the briefing, but read the posts on this thread. Here’s what I gathered about what Jay Carney had to say:
The talking points came from the CIA
Gen Patraeus wrote the talking points
Congress and the Republicans are creating a distraction
It’s Mitt Romney’s fault

It’s funny. Every admin has off the record meetings with reporters.
Only this one is dumb enough to tell you they are having one. They don’t even pretent any more. They get doughnuts in the AM, ‘for all they do’, and when they do their stint the admin finds them jobs on K-street or somewhere close by.
Yeah, Obama is working his arse off to protect his own rear end....if only the traitors in the WH had worked as hard to protected our people in Benghazi, the SEALS in the helicopter crash and on and on....
“Obama administration officials insisted that the White House and State Department had a minor role in altering an erroneous account of a deadly attack on a US compound in Libya last year, after internal e-mails surfaced indicating it was shaped by political concerns.
The White House involvement was very limited and non-substantive, Jay Carney, President Barack Obamas spokesman, told reporters Friday. The talking points reflect the intelligence community assessment of what happened.
Obama administration changed the story only ... 12 times !!!
Is this so that several Senators and Congressmen in the know can’t call them liars after they finish lying to the media?
