Get a load of this breaking....
“Of course there will be no repercussions and this will be a blip on FOX, only.”
Megan Kelly had an excellent discussion with the lawyer who forced the IRS thugs back into their cages on this and their small apology.
It will not be carried by ABCNNBCBS.
Here's the problem: the IRS has the power to effectively ruin people by starting a tax audit, even for specious reasons. Given that the Tea Party was specifically targeted for an IRS audit, that tells me no less than the President himself may have approved of this.
Just why, right now, is the IRS coming forward with this mea culpa? Is it possible that the heat over Benghazi is getting to the Obama administration and this is there way to throw a bone to conservatives and Republicans? As in, “We did some bad things. We didn't play fair, now would you back off the whole Benghazi thing and we'll try to play nice with you now.”
Is this possible or is this too wild? Why would they voluntarily just now come forward with this info and apology?
Exactly. See my post at #54.
In all seriousness you are correct. Our Founding Fathers had a unbridled passion for Liberty. They knew that government was an inherently evil institution.
Our Founders would have gathered up the State Militias when the first stirrings of the evil Progressives were pushing the 17th Amendment.
Our Founders would have never allowed the Progressive movement to gain power.
In private business, someone caught in such a flagrant policy violation would be fired or demoted.
I want to know what happened to these low-level employees.
No, I am not holding my breath.
Lemme guess? No one questioned Organizing For America’s questionable activities, right?
Obama, using his SEIU career bureaucrats allies, launched a retaliatory political strike against his TEA Party enemies via the IRS. The only surprise here is that the IRS apologized. These people should be fired.
Don’t you wish you could get away with grossly illegal behavior by simply releasing the news on Friday and simply apologizing like they can?
The IRS is probably trying to head off a deeper investigation. That probe needs to continue until indictments are handed down.
There must be earth shaking revelations coming about Obama and the IRS, this is the only reason they would preemptively admit guilt.
Ok, now that we’ve achieved our goals, we’ll apologize as long as there aren’t any consequences. That should make it all better, right?
Let her apologize during her pre-sentencing hearing . . .
Sure, they’re sorry.
Go after ‘em, and find out WHO gave the push to target these organizations.
Like the low level career employees of the State Department who didn’t vigorously and continuously beseech Hillary for security upgrades at the âCriticalâ level facility of Benghazi - according to the ARB (totally false). So, it’s not the fault of Obama appointees for not listening...
- Tax-Exempt - MEDIA MATTERS - ??
Primary activity/agenda :
- Destroy FOX News and all Conservatives -
Remember how the Feds used the IRS to bring down Al Capone in the early 1930’s? Imagine the delicious irony when the actions of the IRS since January 20, 2009 targeting conservatives ends up bringing down President Obama more so than the Benghazi debacle....
over time some will be unlucky
We should all go to rob a bank tomorrow, and IF they catch you, you say “Gosh, I’m sorry” ... and that should be it
And did IRS provide any tax files or tax returns to the staff over at the White House?
We should demand mass firings, rescinding of pensions, and jail time for all involved. Apologies are not even close to enough for these egregious crimes.
Carney blamed the GOP for it.
Lefties actually saying it’s fine for the IRS to target the right for their political beliefs.
Apology won’t hack it. They won’t let us apologize for making a mistake on our tax returns.
Jail for them.
“The apology is a shot across the bow showing that they can do it, they can admit it, and nothing will be done about it. In other words they can continue doing it with impunity. This is in your face.”
And the press could care less, as opposed to the Nixon and Reagan days when anything the feds did were trumpeted as scandal.
How do you apologize and in the next breath say: “It wasn’t politically motivated...just a mistake.”
I haven't filed or paid any taxes since 1993. I'm sorry. Does that apology make it all better now?
Angry Tea Party Patriot.
Apologize for slavery. Apologize for the Mavi Marmaru. Apologize for sprinkling the seat in a public john. Apologize for targeting conservative groups. Apologize for Pearl Harbor. Apologize for apologizing excessively for every stupid thing. Who cares. Has the North apologized to the South for Atlanta yet?
So was the KKK
No, they would not. They are people just like you and me. They wouldn't and didn't start shooting until their lives were in jeopardy.
Remember before they started shooting they were for years randomly taken as slaves for the Kings navy. They couldn't buy bibles and had Regular army sleeping in their homes whom they had to feed. Those caught practicing a belief out side what was legally allowed was flogged often to death in front of the whole town. Church's were burned to the ground. They had no way for the king to hear their issues.
that is what broke the back they were being killed and ignored.

CORRECTION.......IRS apologizes for targeting WHITE GROUPS.
I see your point and would also add that they did absolutely everything that they could to avoid the shooting. Including sending the King a list of grievences attached to their Declaration of Independence. Only after the abuses continued did they turn to the last resort.
Absolutely. I really hate the way our schools teach our revolution that was over some tax money. It is absurd and shameful. They were not murderers
