My favorite jailhouse sex scene is the one in The Longest Yard. Burt Reynolds is in the Florida state pen. A fellow inmate boasts of his powers as a fixer. “I can get you anything in here! I can get you laid in here!”
Burt is skeptical, so the fixer sets him up on some petty mission to the warden’s office. No one is there but the secretary, Bernadette Peters. She locks the doors and starts undressing Burt.
Burt (at 1:11 here): “You do this very often?”
Bernadette: “I’m just as far from Tallahassee as you are, honey.”
Life’s been imitating art all over recently. The big story here was the one out of Baltimore City Detention Center, where a prisoner named Tavon White, awaiting trial for attempted murder, has allegedly fathered five babies by four female prison guards and had carnal knowledge of at least nine more. Mr. White’s domination of his custodiennes extended well beyond the leg-spreading department: They were reportedly smuggling in contraband for him and helping his business enterprises....

John Derbyshire is an idot with a very bizarre worldview. It must be so tedious for him to occupy a planet with so many people beneath him, like Christians and black people.
To quote my 92 year old mother in law who usually makes this comment when she sees an ugly or old guy with a gorgeous young woman - “Well, he’s either got money - or a wart.”
A friend and I were arrested once, I got put in the
city jail but because he had stepped out of the car
he got put in the county lock up. My friend was an
alcoholic and needed a drink. The jail trustee told
him he could get him pot or coke but no alcohol on
the weekends...
It was all thrown out at trial.

How was that emotional? I am far from being PC. Does that mean I can’t have any standards? Mr. Derbyshire believes all Christians are stupid and all blacks are criminals, and they both threaten to bring down civilization. It’s an opinion I think does him no credit.
I agree. Taki can be amusing, but the worldview it subscribes to is rather dated to say the least.
The comments tend to talk about “Nordic blood” and have a rather hostile view towards Catholics and Jews, let alone Non-whites.
Sure it’s politically incorrect, but at the same time I wouldn’t want to associate with them.
