Bill Gives DHS Sec. 'Virtually Unlimited Discretion to Waive Any Manner of Crimes
CNSNEWS ^ | May 9, 2013 | Craig Bannister

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) entered a letter from law enforcement officials nationwide warning of the dangers of the immigration bill S.744 into the judiciary committee record today.

The (letter To Congress) from the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council of the American Federation of Government Employees Affiliated with AFL-CIO warns of the discretionary power the bill gives to “political appointees” and takes away from law enforcers:

“Congress can and must take decisive steps to limit the discretion of political appointees and empower ICE and CBP to perform their respective missions and enforce the laws enacted by Congress. Rather than limiting the power of those political appointees within DHS, S. 744 provides them with nearly unlimited discretion, which will serve only to further cripple the law enforcement missions of these agencies.”

They warn that the (Senate immigration bill) gives DHS Sec. Janet Napolitano “virtually unlimited discretion to waiver” prohibitions on obtaining legal status, such as criminal activity or previous deportation:

“This same section (Section 2101 of S. 744) gives the Secretary of Homeland Security virtually unlimited discretion to waive any manner of crimes that would otherwise make an individual ineligible for legal status––

This treachery is the final Cloward-Piven nail in the Constitutional Republic coffin. And the regime, both democrips and republicants, know it full well as they make this evil ‘the law of the land’. Legislator protected invaders are the last footsoldiers for overloading the system of the economy.

Yeah? I think the main thrust of this bill is the destruction of the American people and the nation.

There is no more Law anyway, except when
Holder feels it might help against whites and
religions he deems unsuitable (ie. other than Islam).

It’s an enabling act.
Recall that the courts told Zero and teh DHS that they could not ignore/not enforce law at will?
Well, there’s now a bill to let them ignore law at will.

Had I been a senator like Rubio, working in good faith to solve a problem, If I saw that sentence (or a similar odious one), I would have bailed right there.

The Congress writes LAW! Not suggestions to the Secretary of Homeland Security to carry out as he/she decides.

This is all being done in the same manner and form as the NAZI takeover of Germany. Incrementally they tore away at freedoms, saw that people weren’t really responding poorly, continued to peck away like a seagull at a sandwich.

At some point, that seagull’s gonna think, “Screw this, I’m going to pick up the whole damn sandwich and fly off to my nest to eat it.”

The liberals became so emboldened by Obama’s victory last year that they’ve shed every last mask and disguise and have gone full-bore at our liberties as the good little communists they are. The people are so fscking clueless that they’re just sitting back happy as ducks in a pond.

TV still on? Check!
EBT card still works? Check!
Car is gassed up? Well, quarter-tank anyway... check!
Obamaphone still works? Check!

The media is so far in the tank that they’re actually shilling for the communists themselves not realizing that one of the first orders of business after disarming the people is to silence the media, even the advocates, in lieu of full control over every aspect thereof. The people are already blubbering morons. They’ll shut off EBT and blame the Republicans. They’ll shut off the free cable and the Obamaphone and blame the Republicans.

They’re piling ten tons of crap into a 5 lb. bag with this “immigration bill,” and it’s become obvious that it’s just another vehicle for pork-barrel spending, advocacy amendments, and a wholesale takeover of the American people.

Congratulations Obama voters, you’re reaping the whirlwind!

I’m surprised “We can’t tell you what’s in it until you pass it” Pelosi isnt involved with this crap. Now they’re going to use that line every time and pad it with so much fluff it will take the average person months to read and put in such legalese that comprehending it will take it even longer. All intentional of course. Someone needs a bill to be put forth to stop this m.o. which has become standard practice; that and restrictions onand abuse use of executive order by the president.

Many states have adopted “plain language” statutes requiring all laws to be in “common language” understood by a majority of readers. Our federal system is so bloated with lawyers that legalese is necessary. They’re simply feeding their law firm buddies and college Greek friends with more money to litigate.

Our system is so corrupt, so broken, so overwhelmingly AGAINST the common man, that we are hopeless to change anything without an actual revolution. We have to scrap over 100 years of laws and go back to a time when things in this country just worked. Then add back laws that adhere strictly to the Constitution, requiring an affidavit outlining the Constitutional authority for implementation across the board.

Nothing like codifying the concept that legal codes aren’t worth the paper they are written on.
