Yep many, many Christians are seeing this as a prophesy being fulfilled right before our very eyes... which also means that the return of Christ is truly imminent. God help us stand for Christ in these end times, Amen!
There has to be more to happen before Christ returns. We have been in the end Times since Christ’s Ascension into Heaven. The final battle takes place in the Plains of Megiddo (Armageddon). Christians well know that there will be more to occur prior to Christ’s return.

This report sounds like Syria intends to launder weapons through terrorist groups. However I am not sure why this would be announced to the world.
Exactly a month ago I was standing on the hill of Megiddo, looking at the valley. It is almost incomprehensible that so many will not submit to God, and the blood will run horse’s bridle deep from there to the Valley of Jehoshaphat in Jerusalem.

No. Jesus was quite clear on that point and referred to the 2nd person of the Trinity not knowing the hour.
Mark 13:32 “but about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”
The point being that even if the Son (Christ) Himself doesn’t know the hour then certainly no man would know. We aren’t supposed to know. Run away from any so-called “teacher” that thinks THEY know when Jesus will return.
