A source with intimate information about the events that happened on the ground in Benghazi the night the U.S. Consulate and the CIA annex was attacked by terrorists told Breitbart News that, ultimately, only the President of the United States, or someone acting on his authority, could have prevented Special Forces either on the ground or nearby from helping those Americans who were under deadly assault.
According to the source, when the attack on the Consulate occurred, a specific chain of command to gain verbal permission to move special-forces in must have occurred. SOCAFRICA commander Lieutenant Col. Gibson would have contacted a desk officer at the time, asking for that permission.
That desk officer would have called Marine Corps Col. George Bristol, then in command of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara. From there, Bristol would have made contact with Rear Admiral Brian Losey, then Commander of Special Operations Command Africa. Losey would have contacted four-star General Carter Ham, commander of U.S. AFRICOM at the time.

I saw a TV clip of a double amputee at a sporting event in Boston. Now, we’re back to Benghazi. We need to be careful that this isn’t a case of the Democrats working the media. The Democrat voters can’t make the connection between Benghazi and their lives. A double amputee in a wheelchair at a Boston hockey game puts Obama’s incompetence right in their face. The Washington Post and CBS and CNN are just now concerned about Benghazi? Nope. The Democrats realized that their failure at Boston was the real danger. Tie Benghazi and Boston together and the Democrats go shrieking back to hell.

Alternative theory. BO let someone else handle the entire situation. Think Panetta, Axelrod, Val jarrett, etc... Stand down order is given and no one else can take the blame. Obama is hiding more here than he cares to admit. He can never admit that he ignored the entire situation. That would be worse than going to sleep.

What does it matter that dereliction of duty cost our Ambassador and three brave men their lives in a hellish attack, as they pleaded for help that was willing and available to come but forbidden to do so? Is that how she handled her “3 a.m. Phone call?” if it was the president’s call, she should have done everything possible, then resigned to protest this soulless political calculation.
Thanks to all the whistle blowing survivors. I can’t tell you how reassured I feel to know that Americans with guts, intelligence and character work in our government. It’s a personally difficult thing you are doing and I really appreciate it. I’ve got your back.
IIRC, way back last September or October, a gentleman, retired from Special Ops and also a Freeper, called in to Rush L. and delineated the procedures so specifically that it was clear, even back then, that the stand down order could only have come from our Caligula.

I can’t help but think that Obama ‘has the goods on Hillary’. She held back info on Obama, during the campaign, that might have helped her win. I believe they have all been threatened in one way or another.....
