The timing is suspicious.

They could also just be trying to look like they are on top of terrorism after their recent EPIC FAIL with the Boston bombing.

I'm giving the Feds the benefit of the doubt. The possession of arms does not in itself indicate a terrorist plot. Otherwise, Duck Dynasty would be considered terrorists.

They've not shown their evidence of why they believe this guy was planning something, but something must have triggered them. Hopefully it wasn't just an overly suspicious neighbor.

As kids we used to but aerosol cans in fires and shoot them. Very dangerous and stupid and fun. Today we would be accused of setting off bombs.
