It was reported the other day on an inside page of the Pioneer Press, and without nearly enough fanfare, that more than six out of 10 women who give birth in their early 20s are unmarried. That is census data, from census demographers, from the very government that then becomes responsible for many, if not most, of those unmarried women and children.
If that isn't an astonishing statistic, it should be. Why, to any logical person's way of thinking, it explains everything in terms of government at all levels bloating out of control.
Supposing that even angels might fear to tread here, it being liberal dogma that I shouldn't be telling women what to do, or men, either, for that matter, I would submit that marriage would solve virtually every economic issue facing this country.

We don't have to fix the whole problem. Splitting the nation and fixing for a conservative area would work.
it’s all the left cares about, social issues.
They have been trying to destroy the family for decades, make divorce easy, promote homosexuality, promote cheating,, have parents other than mother and a father .
It states this in the 63 communist rules etc and still our side will not saying a frigging thing about social issues and thinks the country only cares about taxes and spending and debt
the left will always fight the social issues as it’s their holy grail, our side won’t speak about social issues because they’re either cowards or don’t care and have no problem with a communist agenda.
Either way the left know and has fought the social issues for decades and will continue to do so and our ide , well it’s been pathetic, talk radio and others who won’t mention social issues and can’t see once the family is destroyed, once marriage and traditional raising of kids has gone then the parents are the Govt.
Our side every election time talks taxes, spending and debt and yet half the country couldn’t careless about those issues.

I agree, the heartland + Texas would be fine with me, so we would at least have a Sea Port and plenty of energy resources...
The trick would be to convince the libs that they would be better off without all those “flyover hicks” and they would have both the pacific coasts and atlantic coasts. Maybe a small strip of land along the canadian border for them to get from one side to another.
He also got a lot of support by many readers. Joe didn’t go far enough. He could have pointed out the disproportionate amount of crime children of single mothers commit. Then he would have really gotten slammed for pointing out the obvious. But his critics think he’s slamming all single mothers. He’s simply saying the obvious: on average single mothers create a huge financial and societal drag.
This single mother boom was created and fostered by arch-radical, man-hating Nazi feminists many years ago in an effort to destroy the nuclear family.
P.S One of my sisters resembles the man-hating feminist. As a single mother, she had a child who managed to turn out pretty good. My father died recently, and my sister, who hated my father, refused to attend the funeral. Her son and only child lambasted her for not going.
We talk a lot about the welfare moms, but there are also many women who just divorce because they just have no interest in actually being married or devoted to a man in a traditional sense. They want the kid(s), they want the life, and they don’t care about needing the assistance .....it’s all about wanting to live as they wish to live — without anyone telling them what to do. A lot of them simply don’t want to settle down with one man — EVER. They want to party and they want to date and/or sleep around. They’ll tell you ...”I’m just not ready to be married.”
I know a lot of women like this. They CHOOSE this — and yet they have the gall to go out and portray themselves as victims. My own cousin is like this ...she just cannot even offer a reasonable excuse for divorcing her husband ...she just did NOT want to be married.
Taxpaying America needs to wake up and make these grifters pay for their own selfish and irresponsible choices.
It would stop if we’d stop rewarding it. Period.
a good marriage would solve almost all or our problems... a good marriage and several children....
remember too, at least these babies have been KEPT not aborted....

Hmmmm...after almost 49 YEARS have passed since the LBJ's 'Great Society' "entitlements" passage...may be more appropriate to revise it to read:
"They are the children, grandchidren, great grandchildren of LBJ.
Where are the fathers/sperm donors? Find them and make them pay restitution for their indiscretions.

Males screwing women and then running away is a huge part of it. Men are few and far between these days.
I have heard tha phrase pulled like a gun many times.It’s like it’s an excuse for everthing when it shold be viewed as the problem.
