Sorry, but the Klingons were based on the Russians, not the Muslim Arabs. I say this as a long-time Trekkie and as a former Russian military linguist during the Cold War (USAF MSgt retired).
You’re right in that the Klingons were “the enemy”. So, if you want to transpose that onto the Arabs in jest, that’s your prerogative. Just don’t go re-writing (Star Trek) history. I think someone said something about re-writing history once...
