It was reported the other day on an inside page of the Pioneer Press, and without nearly enough fanfare, that more than six out of 10 women who give birth in their early 20s are unmarried. That is census data, from census demographers, from the very government that then becomes responsible for many, if not most, of those unmarried women and children.
If that isn't an astonishing statistic, it should be. Why, to any logical person's way of thinking, it explains everything in terms of government at all levels bloating out of control.
Supposing that even angels might fear to tread here, it being liberal dogma that I shouldn't be telling women what to do, or men, either, for that matter, I would submit that marriage would solve virtually every economic issue facing this country.
The census demographers said that single motherhood, on the increase since the 1940s, has accelerated mindblowingly. The birth rate for unmarried women in 2007 was up 80 percent in the almost three decades since 1980. Just between 2002 and 2007, it was up 20 percent.

Does anyone know: if a single mother has a child does she get social security benefits even if she has a good income?

The men weren’t replaced. The standard became “not married.” Most of the heifers I see in WalMart with an EBT card aren’t ‘alone’.....their live-in unemployed boyfriend is outside in his new F-150 waiting on her to come out with the grocery cart and beer. Seen it many, many times.
And the generational training that personal responsibility - on any level - is something to be avoided, blossoms. As we have seen in the Black community, were a vast majority of the children are born to women who have transient men in their lives. The women teach their children to do anything ... ANYTHING ... to get their short term goals, to ignore any long-term consequences, ignore any moral code, legal technicalities, embrace the thug life, and the degeneration of society is quite evident.
The less intellectually gifted multiply, without any social nor economic limitations, and every defect found is multiplied. Meanwhile, those who have intellectual capabilities and try to escape the vicious cycle withhold their contributions from the genetic pool.
It’s quite obvious that we are seeing a radical division of classes within the Black community. We are seeing hordes of learning impaired parasites, bound by no moral code, joining gangs and preying upon the communities in which they were raised; and we are seeing an upper class of Blacks who are struggling to survive - yet still seem to embrace the Black culture that has created the problems that plague them. None are so blind, as those who will not see.
How about instead of taxpayers footing the bill the young men who were stupid enough to lay with these women be made to pay for their own children.
Most of these women don’t just have one child, they have 3 or 4 by 3 or 4 different men for welfare purposes. I’m tired of baby momma drama and I’m tired of paying these sluts for laying on their backs. Make them pay.
There are two programs, ‘benefits’ for which she can apply.
One is SS benefits (tied to somebody’s, usually a parent or absent parent, SSN) as a dependent under 18.
The other is SSI, for which there are no prior SS work histories required. Usually there is some kind of concocted ailment with the child.
Both together, at my last checking, amount to 25% of SSAs outlays (the SS system does not fund the SSI portion, but they are responsible for adminstering it. The money comes from the government welfare pool)
Today, we live in a world built by Feminism. It is bad in so many ways. Feminism has caused tremendous damage. And the feminists look around at the rubble of society and they say, "Look what those stupid men did!"
Maybe women should focus on stable marriages, stop with the promiscuity, and try to enforce civilized behavior on husbands and children by preaching moral values. It worked before ...
There can be no ‘single moms’ without the men who impregnate them.
If only that were true... and preferably before they had a chance to spawn via interspecies artificial insemination with human sperm.
