I am sure the piece you quoted is in error. He was never arrested for assaulting his wife. He was arrested for assaulting a former girlfriend.

Young women can be easily fooled and charmed. The point to be made here is to broadcast loud and clear to young women in America and beyond to not have anything to do with Muslims unless such Muslims renounce Islam and convert to Christianity or Judaism.
Here’s a real life story put to the Hollywood screen about how charming Muslim men can be to women, impregnate them and then gradually and eventually at a quickened pace cause them to convert even against their will.

A film should be made of Katherine (without any benefit to her) and shown to every teenage girl. Her story needs to be told. And if her attorney demands money for her story with her approval, I say fry her on the chair as an accessory to mass premeditated murder.

Teaching teenaged girls about the trap that is Islam is a fine idea, but where were Katherine Russell’s parents? If the family was indeed Christian, you would think the girl might have grown up with a knowledge of that particular truth. You might expect that the mother and father would have reacted with horror to the revelation that their daughter planned to renounce Christianity in order to marry a medieval savage.
Yes, it’s hard for a woman to escape Islam once she’s ensnared, but the woman makes that choice of her own free will. “Not Without My Daughter” was made in 1991. In today’s world, a woman who makes such a choice does so through willful ignorance.
Being easily charmed is one thing. If Katherine Russell was indeed a Christian, and if she renounced Jesus Christ for a Muslim husband, that’s more than foolish-—it’s evil.

That Daily Mail sentence was incorrect and subsequently corrected. That was a different girlfriend that he assaulted in 2009 — not Russell.
However if this Daily Mail story is correct, then the hijab honey better cough it all up because the FBI have the content of her phone calls, including the one where she alerted her terrorist husband:
Public school teaches that Christianity is not inclusive whereas the ‘State’ is obligated to include all cultures, in other words ‘tolerance’.
I am sure her parents and family were shocked at what she was doing as it unfolded what a strange person he was. But so many American families are susceptible to this because they are taught to be ‘inclusive’ and ‘tolerant’. In my opinion these attitude and social agreement have to change.

Now look at the Wiki summary that I linked to you in a previous post and you will see that the writer of that post is crazy. He really sticks in his ‘social attitude’ to the film ‘Not Without My Daughter’. And he also references film critic Roger Ebert who noted the film made “moral and racial assertions that are deeply troubling” and that it “does not play fair with its Muslim characters. Now I look at what Ebert said and I want to throw up. It captures everything wrong with our media, our government, our schools and our society today. We are blamed for our witness to the truth. Instead our government, schools, media and society should be putting Muslims on the hot seat again and again to demonstrate their allegiance to our Bill of Rights and our universal American values. It will never happen until we stop being pushovers and start demanding Muslims show us compliance and not the other way around.
If I had been Katherine’s father I and a few of my Marine Corps family members would have taken this puke Tamerlan for a drive and read him the riot act. But that’s the old America, the old John Wayne America.

The residence was 410 Norfolk Street, Apt 3, Cambridge, MA 02139. So, that would mean it was the basement of the building, not of their residence.
That supports her case. They probably handled the materials in the apartment, then decided to move the assembly activity to the basement in order to hide it from her, while taking greater risk that someone else with access to the basement might discover them.
As for the magazine on the laptop, they'd have to prove she downloaded it. That will be hard unless it was set up with multiple accounts, which is unlikely. I doubt she took it to her home health aide job. That likely means the brothers had unfettered access to it while she was supporting the household working 80-hour weeks.
