The Most Horrible Thing About Late Term Abortion
Myself

Posted on 05/03/2013 3:38:15 PM PDT by Cindy of Nashville

There is an aspect of the Gosnell Abortion/Murder trial that no one is mentioning. It is also why it is so important to know that our worshiped President is okay with what Gosnell did. DOESN'T OBAMA AND EVERYBODY ELSE WHO SUPPORTS LATE TERM ABORTION REALIZE THAT DEVELOPED BABIES FEEL PAIN. The horrible things he was doing to these babies was without any anesthetic. Imagine having your spine cut, your feet cut off and who knows what else, with no pain killer. We go after other countries for human rights violations, we send people to jail for cruelty to animals, liberals act like waterboarding is so awful, but even our own president is okay with torture and murder to viable babies. An abortion in the first 2 months of pregnecy is one thing, but when the baby is developed and able to feel pain and live without the mother, that is another thing. I have to force myself to not think about this Gosnell trial, otherwise it makes me sick. I hope there are others who realize the horror in all this.

OK, I'll bite. Does the soul enter/infuse the body gradually, in stages, piecemeal?
Is there a stage when we are neither human nor sperm/egg? Or a little of both? Is this what you are saying?

They say all neural connections are ready at 20 weeks. Of course that does not make earlier abortions ok, but when we try a murderer it makes a difference when that person has tortured his victims before killing them. He is more likely to get a death sentence. Abortion is murder, no doubt about it, but late term abortions are torture and murder.

That said, I like what you wrote on your next post: compromise is not just a fool's errand, but Satan's, too. Years ago I had a similar discussion with the then-president of the National Right to Life Committee. She said that she would rather "compromise" and save a few lives than stick to the basics and watch 100% of babies being slaughtered. Tough choice!

The big Catholic family thing is of a different era. That culture, albeit a sprinkling of heroic families notwithstanding, is as long gone as Father O'Malley refereeing the CYO boxing championship.
But we live now, in the times where the majority of children are born out of wedlock,
pornography and sex ed in junior high is the norm, and under-30 somethings
are loosely attached to Christianity, when they are attached at all. The fact
remains: abortion murder is still murder, and must be exclaimed as such,
even when we are speaking with true charity and gentleness out of love for our lost brothers & sisters.

It isn’t Obama and it isn’t Gosnell, for Gosnell it is money, for Obama it is power and votes. It is the woman who walks into an abortion clinic, swollen with child and feeling movements of life inside her. They are the animals, only they are responsible for these deaths. In fact, there should be a clause in the procedure agreement, that if the baby is born alive, the live infant is given to her and it becomes the responsibility of the mother to slit the baby’s spine.

Anesthetizing the fetus would not make abortion more moral.

Still, perhaps this argument will be understood by some pro-abortion types who cannot make the tiny mental leap required to understand that a fetus is fully human.

There is no soul entering the body, not piecemeal or otherwise. There is no “stage” where we are nothing (using your definition of humanity). There is simply a process of sperm entering the egg. There is a stage where it has not entered and a stage where the sperm and egg are fused and the DNA has been combined. We can also hypothesize various partial fusion stages.

Oh but the soul/spirit intellect does indeed enter the womb at conception. Each and every soul/spirit intellect created has the opportunity to take this flesh journey. Christ said just to 'see' the kingdom of God this flesh journey was the first step.

Now it is also Written that when the flesh body dies that soul/spirit intellect returns to the Maker that sent it. Thus every conception wherein a soul/spirit intellect enters the womb is not lost when the flesh dies, but back with the Maker.

However, the big business of murdering the child still in the womb is not ignored by the Creator.

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" At the moment of sperm and egg combining, this "you" of which Jeremiah speaks is created, body and soul.. We are obligated by God to protect each person from this point on
