The public still doesn’t like Obamacare and still doesn’t like President Obama’s handling of health care in general.
The latest Fox News poll (one of many with similar results) tells us:
While a 54-percent majority would repeal the law, 41 percent would keep it in place. That’s mostly unchanged from two years ago, when 56 percent said they would cancel it and 39 percent wanted the law to remain (January 2011).
On the law itself views are divided along partisan lines. By a 48 percentage-point margin, most Democrats favor keeping Obamacare (72-24 percent), while Republicans favor repealing it by an even wider 77-point margin (87-10 percent).
Independents also favor repeal, but by a narrower 16-point margin (53-37 percent).

Obama’s health care law was designed to expand access to the uninsured. It’s a noble goal, if not necessarily a smart political priority. (It’s more popular to advocate for improved health care, not expanded access.) But to win support for the law, Obama claimed it would lower costs, improve the quality of care and not force anyone off their current health care plan. That’s not shaping up to be the case. Premiums are rising, employer uncertainty is growing and voters aren’t viewing the law favorably – with many not even aware of the frontloaded benefits already in place. And even on the access side, the law of unintended consequences is kicking in: Some large retail companies are cutting back employee hours so they won’t have to offer health insurance. That’s not good for the economy or health care access.

Eventually, people experience the reality of this old phrase: You think health care is expensive now? Wait’ll it’s free!
As long as Obamacare is in the “those that are against it say we’ll be sorry” phase, It is relatively easy to ignore them. Once people are experiencing the “boy, am I sorry” “rubber meets the road” phase, Public opinion will change mightily.

The Washington Post and its ilk are certain they can cram this down our throats no matter what we want. That's the whole point, that's their reason for living.
And the Washington Pest is just figuring out some of what's wrong? We knew it years ago. DOH!
When you jam something down the public’s unwilling throat you shouldn’t be surprised when it comes right back in your face under pressure!
But that's only the tip of the iceberg. You are administering it with hundreds of thousands of uncaring unelected unaccountable bureaucrats - and you are turning citizens into line item expenses....meaning they'll naturally turn on each other.

From what I have heard and seen, the gov’t has spent more money hassling Obama care than it would take to purchase insurance for all of the under/un insured.
By "unintended consequences" they mean "completely foreseeable and rational results."
Obamacare was forced on us against our wills and against the laws of the land by political manuvering. Extorting money now to implement it is like China charging the family for the bullet used to execute their dad.
Companies are replacing 40 hour per week employees with two 20 hour per week workers to avoid providing healthcare. Obama and the media love it because it looks like he created a new job. Of course, the results are devastating to the workers and their well-being. The only part that's hard to figure out is how they will blame GW Bush.
I posted something similar on another thread. Sooner or later, patients will want treatment under Obamacare. Sooner or later, a prescription will need filling. Sooner or later, a physician, a surgeon, a nurse, and a pharmacist will all want payment for services and products rendered.
Getting the rubber ready for the road describes all those scenarios. And if you've heard the horror stories about people abusing 911, or about showing up in an emergency room for a headache, we ain't seen nothing yet.
