College costs are on the rise–having increased at a rate that outpaces inflation for more than two decades, contributing to record levels of student debt. Nevertheless, Duke University saw fit to raise the cost of its program even more. This week Campus Reform reports that Duke has raised student fees in order to pay for sex change operations for any student who wants one.
Administrators say they will cover the cost of the reassignment surgery up to $50,000 that will be covered with a cause a 0.3 percent increase to overall student fees.LGBT advocates on campus immediately celebrated the university’s decision.
“The addition of sexual reassignment surgery with a $50,000 cap makes Duke’s student health care plan one of the most, if not the most, transgender-inclusive plans in the country,” Sunny Frothingham, the outreach chair for Blue Devils United told the Duke Chronicle last week…

I hope their tuition goes through the roof. How much did it increase to cover the insurance increase from haviing to pay damages of millions of dollars to the innocent men?
Maybe The Group of 88 will offer to cut their salaries to cover the increase.

By the way, being that it’s Duke, shouldn’t they have a legal fund for lacrosse players who are railroaded by liberals?
So-called higher education has become a joke. I remember when Duke and Yale and other universities were admired around the world. Now they are more concerned with Sex Week and reassignment surgery than education. Why do I have to be living during this time? I should have been born in the 1820s!
Man, used to be that if you wanted some p*ssy in college, you’d just wander on down to a sorority mixer on a Friday night.

Colleges get away with so much price gouging it’s insane, and being that most of them are run by liberals they get away with it. For example during a gas shortage, you’ll see every politician in existence out there destroying small gas stations that gouge by even a cent. But colleges that gouge by tens of thousands of dollars? Oh, they are left alone. For example in New York city, NYU is THE largest real estate owner in the entire city. A freakin’ college. And if that isn’t bad enough, they constantly run small businesses into the ground by raising their rents through the stratosphere which is why now high end fashion stores litter places like Greenwich village, Little Italy, SoHo. And what do the politicos do? Absolutely nothing.
Good Grief. Of course, the IDIOT DICK BRODHEAD, is still President of Duke — the same one who fanned the flames of hate against the LaCrosse team facing fraudulent charges of rape. Duke is also cultivating Islamists and setting up a Islamic Center. They’ve been hosting Duke grads at the residences of ambassadors Middle Eastern Muslim countries. They have a fund-raising campaign called “Duke/forward” — which sounds like an attempt to play off the progressive/Communist/socialists claptrap. It’s sickening to the core.
