The U.K. Daily Mail recently claimed that a senior Saudi government official revealed to its sources that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had sent a written warning to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012 about Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the suspects accused in the Boston Marathon bombing. But now, the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington, D.C. is denying the Saudi government warned the United States about Tsarnaev, the Daily Mail reports.

The wires seem to be crossed. The Blaze article referenced in this thread indicates Saudi government is claiming that it had no information about Boston bombers. That’s at least partly true because previous report indicates that Saudi’s sent up a flare about one of Tsarnaev brothers which did not specify any city. So it’s no wonder that Saudi government is denying specific knowledge of Boston boming. And we are relying on third parties for this info who may not necessarily be connecting dots the same way.

Of course not — if the Saudis warned us, then the question become how the Saudis knew. And that might lead back to their boy AbdulRahman Ali Al Harbi, the Saudi who was at the bombing site and was initially a suspect.
