Twitchy reports that on Tuesday night, the left launched a Twitter game with the hashtag #SarahPalinFilms. Via a verified account, this was Netflix's voluntary contribution: -- #SarahPalinFilms "Iron Sky" nflx.it/11AZvLR twitter.com/netflix/status…

— Netflix US (@netflix) May 1, 2013 -- One review of "Iron Sky" describes the film this way:

The film tries to make the connection between the Nazis and the current state of American politics via a US President character that embodies the Sarah Palin brand of politics, but it’s done in bad taste and this is where the satire fails.

Net flix is great and gives a chance to watch what we want and to filter all the homo crap they have on TV.
Also the most rated movies and programs are all conservative while the radical left crap have no stars or just one star.
It goes to show what people really want and it’s not crap like this game

I just read the review on NetFlix, and it does not mention Gov Palin.

Net flix was wrong to do this.

The democrats are basically describing themselves because they are the socialist party like the Nazis.

I actually had the misfortune of watching Iron Sky on Netflix (thanks to my teenage boys). While it was a satire, it was full of the standard Hollywood leftist propaganda push. It had a Tina Fey type actress portraying Palin as the president. I couldn’t help but think that the only reason this dreck got funded and green lighted was because it was ridiculing Palin. If so, the filmmakers understand how Hollywood really works as far as what gets made into a film.

I tried watching it, and was even more disgusted with the racist portrayal of the token black astronaut. I gave up about the time they came to Earth and encountered the gang.

If so, the filmmakers understand how Hollywood really works as far as what gets made into a film.

It's not a Hollywood production. It's mostly Finnish, with some German and Australian money.

I'm guessing that this was a direct-to-streaming-video production, as I can't see how anyone would've approved the cost of even a bargain-basement DVD distribution.

It did contain an interesting echo of "The Watermelon Man", though. Nearly as subtle as last week's Mad Men episode, which featured a segue into "Planet of the Apes" footage during the midst of the Harlem riots that followed MLK's death.

I’ve watched the film. Its an over the top satire. The female president is doing an impression of Tina Fey doing an impression of Palin.

It had its moments but the film fell short. The funniest joke is when the NK ambassador tries to claim the invasion force is North Korean and everyone laughs at him.

I entered into the free 30 days thing with them right before they came out and quit advertising on radio stations that carried Rush. The reason was for the Sandra Fluke kerfuffle.

I got my free 29 days and canceled on the 30th. Naturally, I got a followup asking why and I told them. Last I heard from them until recently and I just automatically send them to the junk box.

Folks, remember one thing. They always overreach.

Personal anecdote:

Remember the the whole freakout that Palin was “doing a black guy” in college? Remember how they made such an issue of it and then POOF!!! it was gone without a trace a few days later?

Know why? I’ll tell you.

I have a black son in law, I asked him what he thought about it. To make a long story short, all his black friends thought it humanized her and took a lot of the ‘racist’ crap off the table because of the way she handled it. They didn’t care whether she had or not.

Moral of the story...let them play their kiddie games. It does not work any more and is just a preach to the choir.

I just assumed someone in the states green lighted the distribution. Interesting that it was made by Europeans.

Good for you. We don't have Netflix. We have a wonderful home movie library. We have spent most of our lives without cable. We just got cable when we moved to Florida. If it were up to me, it would be gone though my better half wants to keep it for certain shows that he likes and warnings for the weather. I just cannot watch the majority of the current shows and movies now.

The shame of it is that Nazis on the Moon! is a great "high-concept" premise for a shlock-y B-movie action flick or just a sci-fi satire.

But they totally wasted it.

Give it five years or so, and someone else needs to do this reich... er, um, Right!

Not just the muslims, but the left, which is basically *all* the Norwegian parties. All clones of Obama, all islamist/Stalinists.

Oh yes. They’d donate billions for her murder, if they could.

There’s a discussion forum on IMDB, where you can generally see who is leading the cheers.

Same here. Thousands of movies from before the liberal invasions.

Can’t watch the EU soviets anymore. Not even for weather.
