Mayor Bloomberg today unleashed an attack on The New York Times, accusing the paper of hypocrisy for publishing an editorial against the NYPD’s stop and frisk policy days after the “paper of record” didn’t bother covering of the murder of a black teenager.

What does he mean “Didn’t bother covering the murder of a black teenager”?

I thought not covering stuff like that was not only routine, but also required by the government.

Stop and frisk is downright insidious, unless we’re to believe there’s reasonable suspicion in each case that the suspect has committed a crime.
