That’s exactly where she should focus. Just as Rudy Giuliani should have focused on taking the Senate seat from Gillibrand in NY.

Well, Senators impact all 50 states, so as a non-Alaskan, I’ll say this: the position of being Sarah Palin is currently far more powerful than that of being one of two Senators from Alaska. I’ll say Sarah is of more use where she is. This notion of insisting that everybody “run for office” is non-conservative on its face.

I’m not from Alaska, but I don’t think Palin wants to give up being a pundit, author, popular speaker, reality TV star, etc. & get bogged down being 1 of 100 (or 1 of 535).

I've been thinking this for a while now.

This would be Sarah's most effective way back to relevance, and a way for her to nullify the undeserved 'quitter' accusation. Seeing her standing on the Senate floor along with Cruz, Lee, and Paul among others would be heartening, and would REALLY pi$$ off the left.

Run Sarah Run!

I agree! Sarah needs to pad her resume some more like Hillary did for her to become president some day.

Fwiw, I’ve heard this is actually a bogus group trying to weaken Palin and her PAC by ciphoning off donations from SarahPAC.

This notion of insisting that everybody “run for office” is non-conservative on its face.

Its a false premise but would you care to explain your reasoning?

Yes she should run, but can she afford all those frivolous law suits that will block her from doing her job?

As conservatives, we should believe that the country runs outisde of government, and we should de-emphasize government.

So while of course we need those in government who also believe that, we should not rush to assume that government work is the only way to be effective. And yet, many do, wanting Ben Carson to run one hour after they hear about him, always looking for Palin’s next political office, some insisting that Rush or Beck or Levin run for office - etc. It’s a trend I see with too many conservatives, and it’s disconcerting and frankly, NOT conservative.

Those law suits only impact Alaska’s governor as I understand it...not the Senate. Now, not sure if you were being snarky or asking question, but I think this speaks to either.

Have lived in Ak over 20 years now, watched Palin come up before she was even in politics. She's as for real as anyone of us. I and all Alaska has seen Palin do the right things regardless of what the party says. They have watched Palin and her family get railroaded by the same Dems that supported her on the state level after she funded issues that were traditionally liberal main stays; education, pensions, oil tax reform, state medical care for all kids. Ya know, Palin supported these issues cause as she said: It was the right thing to do when we had high oil prices and state revenues over flowing.

I hear dems still complain how she's a quitter but they are the types usually looking for handouts at every corner anyway and would never vote Republican. There are more Repubs than Dems in AK and Mark Begich isn't seen as the brightest light bulb. Begich doesn't draw votes across party lines like say Donny Young does. Even the dem Indians vote for Young.

Conservative friends where I live have been talking about Palin too. I think she would be better than Miller or anybody else. Palin has a real track record and integrity. I just hate to see the media start their attacks again, she's suffered enough. Palin is a good honest politician if there ever was one.

I think she would beat Begich, everybody knows she has more going on upstairs than Mark. Also Mark is about as a conservative dem as you will find, supported guns; but would he down the road? You can take Palin to the bank.

I hope she does run. She's one of the few politicals I have sent money to and would again. No more for the Repub Party, they won't let me be??????

I hope Mark Begich’s numbers are in the toilet, because the last ones I’d seen for Alaska showed the folks up there aren’t all that enamored with Sarah anymore, either.

People here don’t like it but Sarah’s political career ended with her resigning as governor.

I understand all the reasons given for the resignation and the fact she was basically hounded out;and neither the “true conservatives” nor the GOP could come up with an effective way to stop the harassment.

It was a case of the bad guys winning.

With Karl Rove and his ilk running the GOP Sarah would get backstabbed as they did Miller.

I have concluded the national GOP doesn’t give one bit about what is best for the nation,or freedom, or what the conservative members and silent majority want;the GOP “leadership” want only to collect paychecks and be part of the Washington in crowd who get good press.
