Hey, I like it! The washed-up child stars have a certain nostalgic appeal. Tonya Harding could be a buff, wise cracking badass.
The unit was ordered to protect a lunar crater but hitches a ride with a Korean maintenance vessel they manage to hijack and get captures, just as a devious plan to get inside. They are considered a jinx by Space Command and they thusly jinx the aliens. Their leader Todd Bridges sacrificed a hand in the battle but returns a hero and marries Private Lindsay Lohan.
