In an interview with Bloomberg TV from the Milken Global Conference in Beverly Hills, former Vice President Al Gore claims American democracy has been "hacked." Gore also opined on former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor recently commenting that she regretted her decision in Bush v. Gore.

Sounds like he’s lamenting the fact that his supporters didn’t try to overthrow the government and appoint him as king...

Likely, he still may be hoping.

(BTW, I consider myself as good looking as Al Gore. That's why I avoid TV appearances as much as possible.)

It would be very hard not to be bitter. Many people would be, if they were Al Gore, if for reason other than the closeness of the election.

Yes he's bitter - bitter that as the sitting vice president, in peace time and in a strong economy, he somehow lost to a man whom he perceives as a inarticulate cowboy bumpkin (never mind W's own Yale-and-Harvard and family pedigrees). And bitter that he was denied, in such an agonizingly razor-thin decision, what he had pointed his entire professional life to, and what he felt he practically deserved as a birthright, i.e. the Presidency. And bitter that he served loyally for eight years to the Horny Hick from Hope, patiently awaiting his turn only to be denied. All those tens of millions of dollars he's collected and the love of the tree-huggers and the doomsday mongers can't fill that emptiness.

Like we needed any further proof that al-normous is a fruit cake. (No insult intended to fruit cakes of course) Of course this was on the bloom-n-idiot network right? I guess the ever affable napoleon bloombergapart was holding flash cards to remind al of the numbers. 90% of 1,952 likely radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbag socialists voters surveyed said blah blah blah. The other 90% (demokkkrat math) said ALL guns should be tossed in to the ocean. Oh yeah. Sandy O’Connor loves her some algore and now realizes she goofed in 2000. And, I served in VN, invented the internet, tipper and I were the basis for “Love Story”, I flew the first space shuttle...........

Gore is right about one thing. The American system has indeed been hacked.

Their [Cloward and Piven} article called for “cadres of aggressive organizers” to use “demonstrations to create a climate of militancy.” Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of “a federal program of income redistribution,” in the form of a guaranteed living income for all — working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act. This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown — providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.

The reality is that in light of 9/11, Bush proved better leadership that Gore could not provide.

LOL. Well, as improbable as it seems that Gore could be right about anything, yes, I do believe we have been hacked along the lines of what Cloward & Piven called for— giant denial of service attack to overload the system resulting in its breakdown (if not fixed in time).

I remember a manager where I worked was really upset about Bush V Gore until 9/12/01. Then he admitted that he was glad Bush was in there instead of Gore.

Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor >>>> all these people mutate when they live in our great Imperial City of DC. They become mutants. Does she still live in DC? I believe so.

Al, you lost the election during the second debate. You had a remarkably orange skin tone from a defective bottle of spray on tan - you had lifts in your shoes so you walked around like Mary Shelly's Frankenstein monster - you talked about some weird "lockbox" - and we were not amused by your fits of tearing paper into the microphone.

Sandra Day O'Connor notwithstanding, you looked and acted like a lunatic.

The only woman I would ever want to see on the US Supreme Court is Judge Jennine Piro. She would never back down or go squishy like this idiot O’Conner who RR appointed only because she was female. And being an affirmative action beneficiary she eventually turned to show her true nature. Idiota!

gore-ed is a hedonist, fat arsed, Jabba the Butt communist. He should be ridiculed and laughed at at every single opportunity. He is a disgrace to America and he is a prime example of how far politics has fallen in America.

Right on!

AL Gore is also trying to impress us with his computer knowledge by explaining what the term "hacked" means.

Puh-lease! The country was "hacked" when we started to refer to it as a democracy rather than a Constitutional Republic.

A democracy is merely a tyranny in the first trimester - it is now full term and Cloward-Piven will be the abortionist.

And bitter that he couldn’t even carry his home state in a presidential election. Just think...all he had to do was win Tennessee and Florida would have been irrelevant.
