Short answer: they know that if we really go down, so do they. For starters, about a third of their populations start starving to death, which means revolution. However, they were used to competent opposition, so they played hard to maintain a strategic edge. They are now realizing that obastard is both incompetent and a Muslim Brotherhood symp, and they’re getting desperate to stave off what they have wrought.

The biggest GOP related effort is that by Grover Norquist to block any possibility of Congressional cooperation with his no new taxes pledge. I have a son in Afghanistan and fear what this is doing to funding for our military. Others here at FR have been worried about his links to Islamic organizations, his Muslim wife, and attempts to get some into the government. I did this search when with considerable surprise I heard him a few days ago urging quick passage of an Immigration bill. Is he worried that with the Tarnaev brothers we may make it harder for Muslim immigration?
They just lost their minds that night but not sure it was the cops....listening to scanner it seemed to me that the cops would get them spotted or cornered and every time the Feds would push them out and move in and then wild shooting could be heard.
The liberals will blame it on the Republicans. The media will minimize any coverage and concentrate on the real news about Witherspoon, Collins, Lohan, and Kardashian.

The trouble with the Obama Administration and all its officials is that NOTHING takes it down. That’s just the fact of the matter, as we’ve seen over several years. About the only thing that is going to happen is that Obama’s term in office will run out - and that’s about all that will save US from HIM!
