I live in the South and would love to cast away the northern deadwood.

In fact, there are serious reasons why the North itself should take the lead in a secessionist movement.

I'm all for it. I've always said it would be a lot easier to 'git er done' if we could make the libs think it was their idea and/or that they would be better off without us conservatives trying to keep them from their wonderfully blissful fantasy liberal dreamland.

Deranged, leftist drivel on parade for the whole world to see.

no problem for me and many others who live here, after al the country we live in is not one anyway.
We live in two countries anyway and anyone from the south going north to the north east will tell you that you might as well be in another country and the attitude , expense, prices, cost of living, social issues etc are very different to us down here

(To be clear, I’d immigrate their immediately, if my current location isn’t considered the South already.)

Is it us seceding or them seceding from reality?

Uh, it wouldn’t just be the South, it’d probably be most states between the mountain ranges.

A bunch of claptrap. Every liberal talking point to a t and nothing more.

Were there to be a split and de-regulated red state mentality prevailed the blue states would be left with the welfare state and every major industry and capital producing entity would leave rather than be bled dry to support it.

They can keep what they consider “high art”.

Just think what America would look like without its mostly Southern states. (We could retain “America”: they could call themselves “Smith & Wesson” or “Coca-Cola” or something like that.) Universal health care. No guns. Strong unions. A humane minimum wage. A humane immigration policy. High revenues from a fair tax structure. A massive public-works program. Legal gay marriage. A ban on carbon emissions. Electric cars. Stronger workplace protections. Extended family leave from work in case of pregnancy or illness. Longer unemployment benefits.

Ah, yes. Utopia! At last.

How long until the race war...???

The red states are the ones keeping the union alive and economically stable. I always pray that the revolution would finally start as it’s been long overdue.

What a moron. Not disagreeing with him on sundering the country, except that the good guys should probably get to keep “America”, but his stereotypes and value judgments on the issues? What a moron. Like people who simply want freedom from excessive levels of government means you want to live in a Christian theocracy. Fool.

Sounds good to me. All the yankee libs in south Florida will need some time to evacuate. Perhaps they can go to Boston as political refugees.

Oh, hell not.
The liberals can all move to the north east.....and leave the rest of us alone.

The only people who would profit are lawyers battling over who would own what (interstate roads, satellites, etc.).

Secession is no longer practicable, let alone preferable.

The nation is disintegrating on its own. Best thing to do is hunker down and let the inevitable be.

If I were still back in the US I would be all in favor of my great state of Tennessee bailing out of the USSA.
Fortunately, I have escaped what is now the Communist hellhole of Obozoland with no plans to return.

Laughable. People are leaving Siegel’s blue states because they are impending disasters. If he thinks the productive ones still left would stay in a hellhole like the blues, then he’s not thinking too far ahead. The exodus would hasten . . big time. And the welfare staters in red could “emigrate” legally or not, to the blues.

So keep up your phony act, Lee. You can’t live without us, and you know it as well as we do.

I think it would be really interesting to see what the country would look like if the red and blue seperated. I think the libs would be shocked to find out.

Can we deport the liberal in the big cities?
