Former Maine Governor Baldacci did something similar. The State of Maine ran ads in Georgia and Ohio which resulted in a flood of Somalis leaving those two states and coming to Maine where they now depend of the government.

Nobody should doubt this story about what Obama is doing in Mexico with these ads. I've seen it happen on a state/national scale and the results are not pretty.
