Democrats fret over Obamacare as 2014 looms (The worst is yet to come)

Democrats are fretting that Obamacare is going to crush their hopes of big gains in the midterm elections, just like it cost them the House in 2010.

And as bad-news headlines and big-time dips in the polls pile up, the signs of anxiety are starting to show.

On Monday night, South Carolina’s Elizabeth Colbert Busch, a favorite of the Democratic left, couldn't get away from the law fast enough, calling Obamacare “extremely problematic” — a quote that got wide play from GOP groups like the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Sen. Max Baucus warned that there could be a “train wreck” if the Obamacare outreach doesn’t improve — and he helped give birth to the law in the Senate.

It’s still beyond my understanding why they’d put the 2014 timebomb in the bill. They must’ve genuinely thought that Obama would lose in 2012, because 2014 is going to be a political bloodbath for the Democrats. If it winds up not being so, I’ll see you all on the march to DC. Vote fraud would be the only explanation at that point.

I think they genuinely thought we would have accepted the defeat and moved on by this point. The far left fringe doesn’t understand why we value freedom, and I don’t believe they are capable of understanding an objection to ObamaCare based on something as trivial (in their eyes) as personal freedom. If decent people can make ObamaCare as unsuccessful and expensive as possible, we may have democrats voting to repeal that atrocity, perhaps even in veto-proof numbers. I’d give them political cover, such as shifting the money taken from Medicare back to the seniors, but I want socialized medicine repealed, not “improved”.

It will still all be Bush’s fault, and the sequester, and the refusal to pass Obama’s “budget.” Everything coming from the White House now and for the next year is to tell enough lies and spin to try to blame Republicans for the coming train wreck.

Obama is a train wreck. Does anyone truly think he will stop blaming everyone else for what ails America? He will not accept any responsibility.

Obama reminds me like having an elderly parent with Alzheimer’s Disease - the parent lives in their own world and expects everyone else to conform to their reality.
