Tsarnaev family received $100G in benefits
Boston Herald ^ | April 29, 2013 | Chris Cassidy

The Tsarnaev family, including the suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded assistance — a bonanza ranging from cash and food stamps to Section 8 housing from 2002 to 2012, the Herald has learned.

“The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning,” said a person with knowledge of documents handed over to a legislative committee today.

The state has handed over more than 500 documents to the ( 11-member) House Post Audit and Oversight Committee, which today met for the first time and plans to call in officials from the Department of Transitional Assistance to testify.

We pay way over 10k a year in taxes so we supported this lazy, foreign family. So yeah, it peeves me that they got a single dime.

My daughter works with a American born hispanic that of course has a full time job and she gets assistance by filling out paperwork and just playing dumb. she said she can get assistance if she tells them she doesn’t speak english.
Just think of the billions wasted every year for all these handouts. Everytime time I go to Walmart I’m stuck in line behind someone that has food stamp debit cards they are using to buy a bunch of crap.

Which means you've re-read all the posts on the thread and realize that your complaint is about public welfare, not about $2,500 per year being a huge amount of money.

Now I'm not one to turn down found money, but we are all sitting here staring at computers and using systems that cost us more than that!

They could shop at Harris Teter I suppose, but they wouldn't get as much for their money.

I go there when I don't feel up to the lines ~ but when I want to buy cheap I go to Aldis in the morning ~ no lines!

Plus how much more money in the direct tax subsidy, the Earned Income Tax Credit????

I would bet that there is another $50,000 to $100,000 there.

I think Lenin was overestimating our intelligence when he said "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them." We'll give our enemies the rope and a little walking around money too.

The EITC is targeted at the working poor. If they weren't working they didn't pay income tax or FICA so they didn't qualify.

Another subtle nuance brought to you by Muawiyah.Inc, purveyors of factoids and tales of the arcane from the world of the Federal Employee Underground Bunker, protected by a vast concrete death strip surrounding the City of Washington!

$10,000 per year for a family of 4 is not all that big a deal

Well of course not muwiwa..

It's revealed American hating foreigners received, $100,000 dollars, confiscated by government from the stupid working tax payers.....Well it's just not that big of a deal...

In fact, millions of other foreigners and illegals are doing the same...

It's just not a big deal, right muwiiwa?

The bomber’s wife was working 80 hours per week so that he could be a “stay at home terrorist/dad.” They had a minor child, so the probably also got the tax credit for the kid.

The bomber’s mom was a massage therapist. At one time she worked in a salon, where she would have been on the payroll. Then later moved into her apartment (maybe working for only cash).

The bomber’s father was employed at an auto repair shop.

So they did work some jobs and they probably were considered “working poor” and paying income tax.

This loser terrorist family should never have been allowed into this country. They should not have received one penny of assistance. What’s with people stealing taxpayers’ money? LIBs who promote this crapola are truly mentally ill.

...And there are many, many more decent Americans WHO’VE PAID INTO THE SYSTEM FOR YEARS AND GET TURNED DOWN FOR THEIR BENEFITS. This is an outrage that terrorists were given benefits and tax payer dollars!!!

Different debate ~ these people were here as refugees ~ probably a case where others were uncomfortable in their presence.

I see no reason why we had to import more such folks ~ my impression was that we were oversubscribed in that department.

$100,000 over 10 years still isn't all that much money these days and the other problems with this fambly would seem to be something we might rather focus on ~ like they are ALL CRAZY!!

Don't count on them paying taxes.

The mad bomber's wife went into her 90 hour per week deal and they went off welfare. Most likely medicare paid most of her hourly rates BTW.

I still think they were into murdering people for cash, and frankly, worrying about the stealing they were doing is just crazy when there's so much more serious stuff to worry about here.

You are nuts if you think I"m going to allow you to cover up their murders and go over here and count what was undoubtedly chump change compared to what they got paid for their main job.

Why do you want to let them get away with it?

Let’s find a taxpayer that paid ~$10k in taxes for each of the last 10 years and hold that person responsible for facilitating and funding Boston.

You don’t qualify...

These tax paid prizes, gifts and benefits are for terrorists, foreigners and illegal aliens.
