At least four career officials at the State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency have retained lawyers, or are in the process of doing so, as they prepare to provide sensitive information about the Benghazi attacks to Congress, Fox News has learned.
Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official and Republican counsel to the Senate intelligence committee, is now representing one of the State Department employees. She told Fox News her client and some of the others, who consider themselves whistleblowers, have been threatened by unnamed Obama administration officials.

At least, anyone whose had their "thinking hat" on, knows that the usurper has threatened anyone who dare to question his Constitutional eligibility to be the Commander in Chief to begin with. Let alone, carry out all of the subsequent subversion/destruction/lies and other unconstitutional acts.
They don’t need lawyers, they need 24/7/365 protection that can’t be bought out by the other side.

Why can’t these witnesses testify before the House Select Committee on Intelligence? Surely the members and staff must already have clearances that enable them to discuss Benghazi or whatever they want. Otherwise, why have the committee at all?
What's wrong with selecting a lawyer who already has such a clearance?
Since this orginated with FNC the MSM will ignore it.....at their peril, once the hearings begin.

Good for them. I understand testimony is being held up because State won't process their attorneys security clearances. Security clearances are routine in cases like this. Victoria Toensing, who represents someone, has been complaining about this.
Testify without representation? They’re not stupid, and there’s no reason for their attorneys not to be cleared.
