Just getting back to thread. My atty and 2 sons were here to sign papers on sale of some of Farm property, and take tour of my gunsafe and basement armory/preps/workshop. They were blown away, and they machine their own stuff! Heh.

I’m just back to the thread too, but in my case, I was away enjoying a grilled ribeye and steamse asparagus and Brussels sprouts........life is good :-)

I LOVE Brussels sprouts; I steam 2-lbs at a time, lots of butter, salt & pepper, and eat them all evening, like M&Ms. And I make fresh Hollandaise from scratch for my steamed asparagus; egg yolks and clarified butter in a dbl boiler, w/ special stainless wisk.
(I used to be a trained chef, pre-Farmer life.)

I steam the sprouts and asparagus OR......the lad and I will cut up Brussels sprouts and a cauliflower, put them on a cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil a “spritz” of lemon juice, diced garlic, salt and pepper (and some red pepper flakes for me ;-) and bake for 15 minutes or so at 375-400 degrees..........talk about good eats!!! And the kicker... toss on some shredded parmesean cheese bout 5 minutes before “show time” ! Make ya smile, I GUARANTEE....... ;-)

Crap, I’m gonna have to stay-up to 11pm, to catch the first 2hrs of tonite’s show, since my atty and sons were here from 6-8. Or maybe I’ll catch the podcast tomorrow, along with the missed CP/WMAL podcast, after some sleep, tonite. Too tired, right now.
