I don’t believe for a minute that the reason for these massive purchases is so benign. I believe that they are expecting civil unrest, perhaps to be fomented by themselves, and are planning to use the ammunition to go to war with the American people. That is why there are so many military drills in civilian areas.

Both the people and their government are preparing for armed conflict with each other.

It’s just not being openly stated.

They can afford to pay from $80.00-$200.00. I get them from the flea market for usually $5.00-$15.00!

Freepers been smelling the ‘Rats since Clinton was elected the first time. Anyone not heeding the information offered here on the FR about the gun control push by the Democrats has had their collective head up their butts.

Absolutely no doubt. God help us if the evil Statists in D.C. succeed in bringing our Republic to a collapse.

I pray that Patriots show absolutely no mercy to any present or past member of elected government (there are a hand full of exceptions)

I pray they are all chased into hiding never to be heard from again.

There are truly evil humans in D.C. trying their best to destroy our way of life.

Of course nothing truly can be done to turn the tide until the government unleashes H*ll against the citizens.

It is absolutely imperative that it is the government to be the first to show it's ugly hand via great violence against the citizens. Only then will people clearly see what needs to be done.

Well...given all that has transpired, beginning with this nonsense launched as the first project of Obama's first term: West Wing Bunker, I'd have to say this administration anticipates open conflict with the American people. Any Pentagon war planner observing similar activity on the part of a neighboring country would draw the same conclusion.

Statement: "Fox: Feds are buying-up ammo to starve civilian gun owners"

Response: I believe while there is some truth in the statement it is merely a side benefit. The real reason is that the members of this administration are frightened. With their superior sources of information they now how much they are hated.

I’m wondering how this will play out in the market. Do ammo manufacturing companies have to have special federal permits to add capacity? This run on guns and ammo is not letting up like the ‘94 run did. It should be leading to the manufacturers adding capacity and new manufacturers springing up, supply and demand and all that. If so, the government buy-up would be self defeating and end in more ammo being available in a couple of years to the citizenry than there was before the buy-up. Does our O’Lenin think he can get a handle on guns and get them confiscated before more capacity can come on line? Does he think he will have USSSSA fully transformed by then?

Has anyone looked into where all this Federally-purchased ammunition is being warehoused, and oh, I don’t know, maybe made a map of the locations?

That isn’t what’s happening but, they are on an unrestrained buying spree.

More and more people on conservative sites — not only this great site — are bringing it up. I think that Jason Chaffetz’s hearing bringing the enormous government ammunition purchases into daylight was a significant step in raising awareness LNG those whose concerns are assuaged by lies that these purchases are nothing out of the ordinary.
