Mc and Cheezy are back, but not Mc-Lite this morning. hmmmm.

I noticed on Fox&Friends this morning:

Study: Teens who get more sleep and sleep in later do better in school.

Next hour:

Study: How sleeping with the TV on affects one’s health.

A study. Another study. Whenever newsies have a slow news period, they revert to studies and polls as news. Secondly, how much did those studies cost US? We know the taxpayers are footing the bills for those grants.

I will probably hit 50K posting milestone sometime this week: This is my 49,914th post since I signing onto FR on September 22, 2001.

I hope that some of those posts were found to cause a few smiles and laughs, pondering and rethinking on major issues, information and relevant links. Some were definitely posted to irritate.

Nearing that 50K mark, I learned that posts containing certain words could possibly get pulled. Those included: Congo and basketball, KFC and watermelon, tar and feathers.

Go figure!

It is probably a good thing they don’t keep a record of the actual time one spends on FR. I can recall a few all-nighters, including the prescription drug bill vote in the House and the early days of the Iraq II War and US troops entering Baghdad.

Bennie Thompson D-Miss

?????

That wouldn't be the same guy who worried about Guam capsizing and just did an Ode to Helium Balloons on the floor of the House last week, would it?

If it wasn't on CNN, I'd think that the 'rats would worry about letting him go out in public without his keepers.

Guests seem to agree that Mommy Jihadist may have been key in ‘radicalizing’ her sons.

[They should also check out the Canadian Sis, who is/was an attorney, She was pretty loud when interviewed shortly after the bomber boys were identified. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that most of this family may have stronger ties to ‘radicalization’ than to the country that gave them sanctuary and financial support. Talk about being ingrates.]

Manchin, D-W.Va, is going to re-introduce the gun bill. He says that it actually expands one’s rights to have guns.

[politician, lips moving, that indicates what? Rhetorically, of course.]

Toomey is apparently no longer interested in pushing the gun bill.

This is a slow news day.

From Fox&Friends:

Another study.

This study shows that people who go to church live longer.
