The dems are trying to get rid of this before next year. Should the GOP help them?

The Democrats didn't "adopt" the health care law. They INTENTIONALLY VOTED for it.

sometimes you need to let the zit pop on its own. We won’t be able to change anything until the pain is absolutely intense.

None of the Repubs voted for this monstrosity. All of them should vote to repeal it if they have a chance before it bankrupts our country. We needed healthcare reform, but doing the wrong thing just so you can say you did something is inferior to doing nothing.

Good catch, there-adopting vs. intentional voting.

Even though not one Republican voted for this travesty, once the liberal propaganda machine gets rolling, the public is going to be absolutely convinced that the ACA was the brainchild of GWB and forced down our throats by right wing extremists.

It’s more important that we take a step back from socialism, not deliberately destroy the private insurance industry, not drive every facet of our healthcare system — highly trained doctors, innovative medical devices, live-saving pharmaceuticals, and local hospitals — not bankrupt the country, small businesses, and individuals with outrageous insurance premiums, and eliminate the new bureaucracy created by Obamacare, than to hold the ridiculous Republican mindset of hoping that allowing disaster to happen will magically swing all voters and legislators to “do the right thing” at the next election, don’t you think?

The Republicans should be pounding on this night and day and drive the point home that the Democrats own it. Instead they scurry around afraid of their own shadows.

Another good crisis the GOP will let pass on by. What dummies we have in DC.

Nominating Romney froze out the best issue they had against Obama last year.

While I don't think Obama and his minions will say Republicans were responsible for the actual bill, I DO believe they will try to pin its poor implementation (as if it could be implemented in any other way), will be the result of delay tactics by Republicans and the right-wing Tea Party.

It will be key for the 2014 elections, to see how the GOP responds to this. Unfortunately, they seem to be more reactionary--waiting for the Democrats to deliver the first message.

They had to pass it to find out what’s in it. Now they are finding out.

I heard yesterday that the healthcare law is completely exempt from the sequester cuts effecting everything else. I don’t think our leaders plan on doing anything except plowing full speed off the fiscall cliff with this POS law.

Well now... sounds like some political careers are flashing before their eyes. I think Max Baucus’ announcement he was calling it quits put a bit of the fear o’ (whatever passes in liberal minds for) God in them.

The House has voted several times to repeal the bill. The Senate is operated by the Democrats, and unless you can get rid of about 5 Senators real quick, there's no way the Republicans can take it over even temporarily.

You don't happen to know how that can be done perhaps? Just temporarily ~

The roll-out of this disaster will be put off until after the Nov. ‘14 elections. It’s the only way Democrats can retain the Senate.
