The nation's disability rolls continued to climb sharply, as 76,983 workers enrolled in the Social Security Disability Insurance program in April, according to new data from the Social Security Administration.
More than 300,000 have joined the program so far this year. The number of workers on permanent disability is now a record 8,865,586, a net increase of one million in just three years.
Today, 6.5 workers are on disability for every 100 who have a job. That's double the ratio from two decades ago.

Disabled? Boy are they. The ones I’ve seen can’t keep it in the fairway off the tee and the rest can’t putt.
How tragic for the TRULY disabled when the Obama money runs out.

Just maybe I could start my own reality show by acting like Dog the Bounty Hunter and recording these scalawags who are not disabled. Who knows, maybe it would compete with Duck Dynasty, which I am so glad they beat everyone on their finale for that time-slot and that includes Idol.

Several years ago I remember some sort of show that outed scum balls cheating on workers comp. I guess that would be considered too mean these days.
I’m betting on 25% fraud factor here.
This really irritates me to no end. I have been receiving disabilty for several years. It took me over a year, three doctors, and a ruling by a federal judge to get on the rolls. I won’t go into my health situation, but using the “pain scale” I am usually a solid 7.5 to 8 and it’s like that 24-7. And I always feel guilty because I know there are so many heroic veterans who have it worse than me. And now I read every day about how Erkel has opened the flood gates to anyone with a stubbed toe or a “blister on my finger.” Thanks Erkel, I already felt bad for having to go on disabilty, but now I am associated with millions of free loaders who sold you their allegiance for a monthly check.
Hmmm.... the unemployment numbers “go down” but the disability numbers go up. Hmmm... now I see how this works.
It is stupid. I know of several young men my stepson’s age who are on disability for depression, and I hate to say it, but all I see is “lazy.” Of course, if the jobs aren’t there for them, why not go this route, eh?
Hire back Americans.
We need to man up and bring back American jobs.

The feds are destroying the dollar and the Country by giving money away to anyone and everyone, not just old white construction workers who cant find a job doing anything at all because there are no jobs out there.

All these people have gotten sick or hurt in the 0bama presidency.
That’s another thing I’ve seen is an “epidemic” of abuse of handicapped placards.
