It's over folks.
Look, I know that "95% of America wants reasonable gun restrictions", or so the media says.
So Obama says.
So lots of people say.
So after The Senate said "NO" to more Gun Control, after 80 years of so-called "gun control" that has not done one damn thing to actually reduce gun violence (and in the most-jackbooted areas it can be argued it has doubled homicides or more!) there should be thousands of people willing to march from McPherson Square in Washington DC to support "common sense" gun control and "Stop the NRA" -- right?
Ok -- where are they?
To put this in perspective, this (below) is one of the shots I took from the Invisible Children protest that I attended last year, also in Washington DC:
That is "more or less" in front of the White House, and the crowd stretches all the way down the street well past the intersection -- and all the way the other direction too. That counted as a protest -- it was loud, it was long, and there were, I'd guess, 3,000 in attendance or thereabouts.

That is an embarassment, there might have been 100 people there and it is a clear statement of exactly what sort of real backing you actually have for such a position.

That aint gonna happen- We had peopel fro mBrittaqin of all places BEGGING us NOT to go down the socilism road and they said “Once you are on that road you will NEVER be able to get peopel off it- they WILL fight for their ‘right to free stuff’ Before they will foight for their actual inalienable rights as protected by the constitution- The left KNOWS full well that htis last election pretty much sealed the fate of America for a very long time=- they saw Americans all across the ocuntry eager to vote for ‘free stuff’ for themselves by reelecting the one who promissed them hte msot free stuff-
Electiosn are no longer about what’s best for our coutnry, electiosn now have becoem a choice between two candidates based on who offers the msot ‘free stuff’
America spoke loud and clear that she no logner cares abotu future generations and whether htey will be fiscally soudn or not, they voted to stuff their own pockets NOW before the m oeny runs out
Once peopel start gettign welfare checks- You will never be able to pry them off their porches and away fro mtheir beer coolors to fight for anythign UNLESS you conivnce them that they are fightign to retain their welfare checks

You bet I am- This was a great natiopn for a great many years UNTIL the right began capitulatign to the left and NOT fightign for our inalienable rights and UNTIL the left decided they werenm’t even goign to be coy abotu vioaltign oru rights any longer-, and UNTIL the Aemrican people spoek loud and clear that they want ‘their piece of thep ie- future generatiosn be damned’

There is nothing he wrote with which I would disagree. The writings of the founders and others bear this out. Print a copy and carry it with you to hand to the next JBT you run across. Simple really. The debate is over regarding our rights and all that is left to determine is who will remain standing when the smoke clears. If you can’t see that I do not know what else to tell you except look deeper than you have before to gain the understanding of what and why he wrote what he did. We may debate among like-thinking individuals as to the circumstances that will lead to our individual defensive stands; but clearly the debate is at an end with those who have no intention other than to bend us to their will. I only have one to whom I am responsible and it is to Him I owe my life and allegiance. Natural rights were granted by Him and only He may withdraw them.
The gun grabbers can give up, or die trying to disarm us.
