Bush did have a hand in some sort of reform but you took it to extreme and there’s always someone else to blame. I don’t think Bush was trying to get the illegal votes.

This is one attitude that I just can't understand or stomach. Why is it that when a Democrat pushes a policy, it's condemned, but if precisely the same policy is pushed by a Republican, people either look the other way or make excuses?

Either a policy is bad, or it isn't, independent of whether it's being pushed by (R) or (D). A "path to citizenship" for illegals was a bad idea when Bush peddled it, and it remains bad when Obama peddles it.
