Attacker admits plans for violence facilitated by organization's 'hate' listings
A key leader of the Washington-based Family Research Council, the pro-family organization attacked by “gay” terrorist Floyd Lee Corkins, II, last year, says he is asking the government to stop utilizing the organization that likely influenced Corkins’ decision to attack innocent workers at FRC’s Washington office.
Retired Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, the executive vice president of FRC and also a member of the board of WND.com, also is asking the U.S. news media to stop citing reports, statements and claims from the Southern Poverty Law Center, which he said legitimizes the organization.
The reason is that Corkins, who has pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic terrorism, confirmed to the FBI that he obtained information about the FRC from the “hate group” listing posted online by the SPLC, and that’s how he picked his target.
According to the government’s sentencing memorandum in the case against Corkins, who is now expected to be sentenced sometime in June, the “mass killing of innocent civilians” was averted narrowly by “the heroic intervening actions of Leonardo Johnson, a building manager/security guard who was seriously injured as a result.”
It happened when Corkins came to the FRC office intending to shoot everyone he could, but was stopped by Johnson, who wrestled Corkins into submission even though he had been shot in the arm.

Among the counts to which Corkins has pleaded guilty is an “Act of [Domestic] Terrorism while Armed.”
During an FBI interview of Corkins after he was taken into custody, an agent asked Corkins, “What was your intention … You’re … a political activist you said?”

The SPLC is behind the U.S. Army taking the position that conservative Christians, Catholics, etc. are potential terrorists and members of hate groups. The Family Research Council was also put on SPLC’s list.
Someone should sue for liability.
If you you took the oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, the federal government now considers you to be an enemy of the state. In a more simple time, that would be called cannon fodder.

So if he acted against a group condemned by the SPLC, did he really commit a crime? Or was he just a little bit overenthusiastic in implementing Obama Administration policy?

SPLC is a scam. It’s run exclusively by white men making $150,000-$400,000 year plus benefits. Apparently they don’t work very hard either - that is left to staff feeding lower down the food trough.

And the organization evidently has assets in excess of $250 million. There is evidently no “poverty” in the SPLC.
I went to FRC’s website to see what all of the hate was about.
What these guys do is collate peer-reviewed research and put it in a form that is easy for the general public to understand. For example, they would dig up clinical studies on the rates of infectious diseases in one lifestyle versus another lifestyle.
It winds up that their website is EXCELLENT and I would recommend that parents take a look at it, and then possibly show it to their kids, if they’re of the age where they’re starting to think of lifestyle choices - the data they have will scare the crap out of them, and rightfully so.
After seeing what they have, it’s understandable why they left is trying to shut them down.
Their game needs to be turned against them and victims of their lists need to sue them.
He simply didn't like FRC supporting family values. That's all. That was the reason he engaged in terrorism. No joke.
The left wing loons are cracking up. Every time there's a mass shooting or bombing, the perps are left wing and/or Jihadist that are registered democrats.
