It is a little strange how people I believed to be right of center all of a sudden swerved to the left like a flock of geese.
I get most of my news from the Internet. However, breaking news will always find me watching FOX.
Imperfect as it is, its the best out there.
Whatever our complaints, this has to do with the Fox News Network broadcasting of the news.
Thanks Kaslin.
I guess part of Limbaugh brief is to give rah rah speeches, but it’s pretty lame that he doesn’t mention that the lowest-rated broadcast news program has a bigger audience than all of the cable news channels put together.
That true...I wouldn’t have guessed. Who has the largest audience?
Same here... and by the way, doesn't Rush have over twenty million listeners?
Here:
EVENING NEWS (Week of April 15, 2013)
Total Viewers Adults 25-54 Households ABC 8,488,000 2.0/8; 2,338,000 5.8/12 NBC 9,834,000 2.5/9; 2,967,000 6.6/13 CBS 7,281,000 1.7/6; 2,018,000 4.9/ 9
20 million is a conservative estimate, hard to judge a medium that is primarily a listener involved entity. Most of the statistics come from local radio surveys and advertisement revenue.
Now that’s a purty darn good country song. ;-)
Wow some 25 million folks get there info right from Jay Carney via the MSM. Makes you wonder why they get so bent out of shape that FOX exists.
And that, folks, is why Rush is still Number One. The man has got a rational mind that's as clear as a sparkling brook, on nearly every undercurrent in this country.
Because it makes them unhappy that a non-liberal TV channel even exists. As a news phenomenon, Fox is strictly minor league, ratings-wise.
So long as people like Rush do not make the monetary effort to provide counter media —more than his three hours a day of his advertising to build his wealth— the current fifth column will maintain the guise of ‘liberal majority’.
What are you saying? He's not doing enough? That he ought to buy a TV network and put up his own news channel?
Hell man, either of us could write a business plan and seek investors to do the same thing. Done right, the funds would be raised in short order, and we could be the Free Republic of cable.
My point is, Rush isn't the only person who can make things happen. He's done a magnificent service for his country since he began his show, and I'm glad it paid him handsomely. I don't think he owes me a bloody thing.
Look at it this way, if men like Rush, with his contacts, would put as much effort into 'fielding' a media team to counter the alphabet slime, the game would likely be changed in our favor. So why do you suppose Rush hasn't done that yet?
Rush has become very wealthy for the work he's put in, and he has been an influence on those who tune in, but of course it is mostly we conservative who tune in ... and the leftists seeking fuel for their propaganda filth.
As to owing US? I perceive that as a typical argument of absurdity. There is nothing illicit about becoming wealthy for the work put in. He sure as heck is more valuable to America than ten Kobi Bryants or a dozen Bart Starrs, IMHO. So leave that stinky fish out of the discussion, please.
What I'm seeking to focus upon is what Rush and his wealthy contacts could do IF THEY would focus their wealth and power upon fielding an opposition media team. And they could accomplish it much faster than you or I.
Our own Lazamataz has said, 'We are a force to be reckoned with', referring to the work freepers do on a host of issues. And Jim Rob finances this thing with meager rations. Think of what the wealth of Limbaugh and associates could accomplish with an army of freepers feeding them material and data!
And Laz is right!
Some of the other people on the network are just filler (Greta, Kristol), and some are simply morons and servants to the enemies of this Country (C. Wallace, B. O'Reilly, S. Smith, M. Schmuckabee).
