Gosnell Acquitted on 3 Counts of Murder, 5 Counts of Corpse Abuse in Grisly Murder Trial
The Blaze ^ | Apr. 23, 2013 | Billy Hallowell

t’s shaping up to be a dramatic day in the courtroom for those keeping a watchful eye on the Dr. Kermit Gosnell case. According to columnist J.D. Mullane, a writer for the Bucks County Courier Times, the abortion doctor was acquitted this morning on three counts of murder.

In a series of tweets from inside the courtroom, Mullane described the dismissals, noting that Gosnell still has five murder charges remaining against him (in sequence from oldest to newest):

#Gosnell defense atty Jack McMahon asks Judge Jeffrey Minehart for abort doc's acquittal. Judge listens, takes recess.

#Gosnell Judge Minehart acquits abort doc on 3 counts murder, 1 infanticide, 5 abuse of corpse; but 5 murder charges remain.

This explains why the left won’t cover this story:

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 17, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A left-wing media commentator has said what many pro-life activists long believed: that an overwhelmingly liberal media consciously chose not to cover the trial of Kermit Gosnell, because they feared it would undermine their political stance on abortion.

“For what it’s worth, I do think that those of us on the Left have made a decision not to cover this trial because we worry that it’ll compromise abortion rights,” said Marc Lamont Hill, a Columbia University professor known for his frequent appearance on Fox News. “Whether you agree with abortion or not, I do think there’s a direct connection between the media’s failure to cover this and our own political commitments on the Left.”

Hill said he thought the captivity of media coverage to a “progressive” political agenda was a negative development but one that may be insurmountable.

“I think it’s a bad idea,” he said of the blackout. “I think it’s dangerous, but I think that’s the way it is.”

Hill was briefly fired from his stint as a commentator on “The O’Reilly Factor” after his admiration of Assata Shakur, a cop-killer who fled for refuge to Castro’s Cuba, became public.

How can they let him get away with this?

Planned Parenthood and the Democrat party will pay off, bribe, blackmail, and extort anybody they have to in order to make this nightmare go away. Do you have any idea how much money the Democrat party launders through Planned Parenthood?

He is not worried. The fix is in.

I agree.
Is there any background on this judge? He's a Philadelphia judge, so I have to presume he's a Democrat who does exactly what he is told to do, ie., he's corrupt to the core.

A rat candidate for governor, Allyson Schwartz, is also tied to this obscenity.
Yep, the fix is in.

I think this should be required before any abortion. Have a 3-D model of the BABY printed out, and handed to every single person who comes in for an abortion.

I hear you.

But it could be argued (not by me, of course) that he was doing illegal late term abortions, in a substandard facility, spreading disease, and negligently causing the death of at least one adult woman.

That would at least get him out of circulation. By approving of his practices, the “pro-Choice” crowd are hurting their cause by not being critical of his evil back-alley doings.

But then, we have the same situation with islam. Where are the “good muslims” decrying terrorism?

Crickets.....

If nothing sticks, the test will be on PA’s reps and Federal reps which will unlikely amount to anything more than a recorded comment.

The charges were dropped. The headline is somewhat misleading. (I say “somewhat” because according to my limited knowledge of the law, at this point in the trial, if charges are dropped it’s considered the same as an acquittal, that is, he can’t be tried again on those same charges because double jeopardy has attached)

Yes. I’ve read Holder’s wife and sister co-own the building for an Atlanta abortion mill. But not this one in Philly, right?

Why? Because it is abortion. The love fest of liberals for population control. Because he is black. Because black’s don’t murder. Because he is a democrat. Because he lives in a Dim state and votes dim. Because like minds are on the jury. Other than that, I don’t have a clue.

OK, how about a federal violation of equal protection. Sue if they have to under that statute but put this POS in the poor house along with PP and hopefully that Imam in the white hut.
