HANOI, Vietnam (AP) — Vietnamese police say they have seized 53 king cobras from a car in Hanoi and arrested the driver.
Officer Dang Van Hanh said Monday the live snakes were taken to a wildlife rescue center near the capital where they treated before being released into the wild.

53?! Ballsy perp. Tough cops. Our facility guard force in Sri Lanka were rightfully terrified of the things. Night patrols regularly encountered some big enough to rear up, and stare down on some of our smaller guys. Checks of the nighttime perimeter wire were ahem, spotty at best.
The King Cobra is the one known to chase humans I think.
