Their pants are just too tight.
Bus drivers in France are going on strike because of their new close-fitting uniforms.
Some 1,600 workers for RTM in Marseille are angry about not being consulted on the updated garments - and are now planning a 24-hour walkout in June in protest.
"I won't be wearing them. They make us look like we work for the Speedy! car repair company. The shirts are alright, but these trousers are far too tight," one bus driver told La Provence.
Union bosses are also mad about the new lavender color, and perceived lower quality of the garments.
"We reject the bottom half of this new uniform, which is the same color as the Gendarmes [French police] wear," said CGT transport union leader Bernard Gargiolo.
He added that "employees don't want to wear a uniform chosen unilaterally by management, without taking into account the views of our clothing committee."
But designer Jonathan Charles has defended the new uniform, saying: "People are saying they look like clowns. Well, that was already the case with the old outfits."
Skin tigh lavender pants. Hmmm... what could go wrong? I think all Union members ought to wear these, except maybe the plumbers.

The last time I heard something like this by the French it was about the costumes they had to wear for Euro Disney.

So the French police wear lavender uniforms????? That says a lot of France!
Give them the Star Trek spandex uniforms.
Lavender tights and a dildo strapped to their head.
There isn’t much you could do to the frogs to prevent them from looking like queer morons.
