Vanity: Fox NOT Covering Saudi National Story?
TownHall ^

Posted on 04/22/2013 11:05:15 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

This morning Todd Starnes had a report on the Saudi National that Beck referenced during his show.

Within the hour that report was pulled. I think we all have an idea of why it was pulled.

Drudge has re-linked the story to Starnes Townhall.com piece.

I know Fox hosts and personalities read FR, so it's helpful to put this out there. Plus.. I know of other threads where Freepers have posted Fox contact information and numbers.

Fox is like our Firewall. If we can get them to cover it then it'll force others to begin to as well!

If this was pulled for the reasons we think it was then I’d be embarrassed to work at Fox.

That would be embarrassing for me as a journalist.

It is bad when a major news organization is owned by bad people. When it is owned by America’s enemies, how do we trust them?

Get Fox News to cover radical Saudis? Might as well try to get Al Jazeera to cover them. Not going to happen.

The huge influence of Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal a huge investor in Newscorp/Fox, is likely the main reason for this pathetic and shameful Fox News non-covergage.

It’s shameful. It sucks. But what are they gonna do?

Fox hosts and personalities can’t quit.. that wouldn’t help their cause.

They are just kinda stuck.

It’s really frustrating!

This is why it’s important to call your Cable company/Dish, etc and tell them to carry the Blaze!!!

Soooo very important!

Why can’t they quit? If they actually have scruples maybe.

It depends on who they are. It may help their cause somewhat.. but where do you go from there?

Then they have no voice whatsoever!

Not everyone there is making lots of moolah and can afford to just quit. But I understand where you are coming from.

Google Results For: Saudi Ownership of Fox News About 2,560,000 results (0.29 seconds) Fox is not our friend.

Alwaleed owns the largest chunk of News Corp. stock outside the Murdoch family. Shortly after his purchase of 5.5 percent of News Corp. voting shares in 2005, Alwaleed gave a speech that made it clear just what he had bought. As noted in The (U.K.) Guardian, Alwaleed told an audience in Dubai that it took just one phone call to Rupert Murdoch -- "speaking not as a shareholder but as a viewer," Alwaleed said -- to get the Fox News crawl reporting "Muslim riots" in France changed to "civil riots."
